How can you be irritated by the fact that I have temporarily retired? How can it possibly impact on you?! I am totally aware that I can be irritating in other ways, but I'm not alone there - you just seem to have such a bee in your bonnet about my work situation. I have been wondering why for a while.

And I completely agree about Jeremy Kyle - thankfully he is avoidable.

No reason, just thought this warranted emphasis.

I probably would agree, but never having watched his programmes, I can only speculate.

I can't for the life of me figure out how it would annoy you at all. How about on the days you find Yuds' professional life (strangely) irritating, you keep it to yourself? You don't know her or her position in life so you shouldn't find her career moves irritating in the least.

By the way, putting a smiley face after a rude remark doesn't camouflage the fact that it was snide and (as Cat mentioned) this wasn't the first time you've done this to Yuds. Therefore, it naturally comes across (to other readers) as being of hostile intent (whether you meant it to or not).

I went to a waterfall today. It was really pretty. Flipping freezing, but pretty.

You're different. You're a lazy * student.

I do have a job. Just not currently a paid one. Actually if you're going down that route I have three jobs, not counting the wife/mother thing (which I don't think counts).

Foots wants me to sign on so he can sneer at me for being a scrounger, but I don't think I should sign on until I am actually looking for a job.

Squash has a season too. I've always found that amusing.

It's a winter sport - I would imagine the squash season runs alongside (September to March / April time) - I know badminton does.

Obviously, you can't just have a continuous never-ending league, that would be silly. No one would ever win the league!

Great laugh in the mornings

That was a rather extreme response to my jokey little comment, if something is bothering you, please don't take it out on others.

Yudster in the '...annoying...' thread wrote:That flat is brilliant Topher. You really should.

Thought I'd move this to the right thread now. I didn't want to post pictures for everyone just in case something went wrong, but * it, if I get turned down for my credit rating (which I'm actually a bit worried about) then so be it, this isn't going to change the situation.

Since I PM'd people with photos, I have taken proper external photos, rather than using one on the web. It's in what used to be the town hall, it's a one bed flat.

I like it... especially the little village and the fact that you have a pub and a curry house to stumble to! I'm so happy for you.

If it makes you feel better, they don't actually credit check you - they just reference you. At least they didn't with me; they just sent my bank a letter basically saying "Can this person afford the monthly sum of..." (rather than going to a company like Experian to check you) and then my bank replied with "This person is a good customer, blah blah blah". I don't believe they ever credit checked me to be exact, so hopefully; you should be ok.
