That just show how mentally messed up you are.

It really does Flower, well done you've solved the enigma that is me.

Another suggestion is that it shows my patriotism and pride for my local team, in a some might say dillusional manner......... but I guess that's one thing you don't really get if you support a club over 200 miles away.

Ok Mafro, how old are you? Please?

So if you're saying 20, and were born probably in 86/87, so you probably got into football when you were at very least 6 (and that is a very least....more than likely it was about 8 - 10)...... so that brings us up to roughly 93 - 97. Hey hang on, that's coincidently when Man Utd were back at the helm of English football, the best team in the country and the most exciting and fashionable to support........... but what was it you said earlier???????

Mafro wrote:

They weren't when I started supporting them.

If you reckon you were able to gauge logic enough to start supporting a football club at the age of 4? I would be very surprised. You must have been a child genius, perhaps you appeared on That's Life with Esther Ransom..... although I doubt it. Even so, if you were this "special child" then it would still have been at a time when Liverpool's dominance if English football had come to an end and the emergence of Man Utd had begun.

Thus my earlier point stands, you sir started supporting Man Utd when they were big, and thus are a big big glory hunter, and on top of that.... a massive lier.................. the prosecution rests.

Lier? You sure about that, son? Also, didn't realise there was a minimum age that you are allowed to watch football, I was too young to understand "dominance". I just saw them play, and I liked them.

So sorry I meant Liar...... I do apologise for my miss-type. You get the idea. Oh and there isn't a minimum age for football watching.

I love the idea that you were "too young to understand dominance, but like the way the play".

"Mummy mummy, what does dominance mean?"

"Malfy you wouldn't understand it dear, you're much too young. Go over to the TV and watch the big men kicking a ball around".

"Oh that's Manchester United mummy my new team, they play an excellent wing back attacking system that leaves their opponents clueless as to what to do, their swift transfer of the ball from defence into attack is breathtaking, they really dominate the field of play...... oh hang on, what does that mean."

"Good boy Malfy, now run along".

Somehow I still think you're talking pants Malfo...... glory hunter.

I just can't stand the scummers that's all, and am mildly irritated by the club's, sorry the company's legions of teenager "supporters" who justify their devotion to the club as "I can do what I want", despite most having absolutely no connection with Manchester what-so-ever ............. oh and they're not glory hunters, that's a ludicrous thing to suggest, no it's just coincidence that Man Utd were winning everything in sight when they got into football.

...............still it that doesn't matter because they'll all be Chelsea fans in a few years time, and boy oh boy do I have some issues with them. Malfoy, and Flower, let me know when you change and we'll get started in Chelski.

Feel free to have a dig at my club by the way, I don't want this to be a one sided affair.... tit for tat and all that.

Agree with the style and finese of your posts, it really just is there repetitive nature.

On topic, isn't it great that the middle of the league is so tight! 1 point seperating 3rd to 9th. We (Everton obviously!) are up to 7th now. Big games away to Pompey and at home to Chelski (easy!) next. Come on you blues!

Go Flower, go Flower, go Flower, go Flower.

I'll never stop questioning your gloryhunting tendencies flower..... I guess it's the price you pay for supporting Man Utd from afar, especially when you're in a big town that has it's own big team (although they weren't winning titles which I guess swayed you away from them). It's fair game in my eyes.

Tut tut Fowler, there's that aggressive streak again, remember the site rules, no personal abuse. I'm being nothing but polite and debating something very close to my heart, "the state of today's game due to the big clubs". It just so happens that I've stumbled across a couple of examples of one thing that is wrong with today's game..... fickle glory hunting fans.

I apologise if I've offended you, and for the repetitive nature of my posts, but I've said it once, and I'll say it again......... a Man Utd fan from Ipswich or Fife for that matter, when both places have perfectly good teams there???? That's fair game my friend.

I was at the West Ham game yesterday, Tevez looked quality and a constant threat but Mascherano came on with only a few miutes remaining and his only contribution was to be tackled by James McFadden and then 10 seconds later James Vaughan had scored to make it 2-0! I know he hasn't had half the amount of game he would've liked but I've still been very disappointed by him

I doubt they will stay at all, West Ham was merely a stop gap to put them in the window of European football...... the only problem is that they haven't performed (been aloud to perform). They'll be gone in the new year.

Tevez was very impressive, probably his best game so far. Mascherano, however, has been very disappointing. He showed his ability during the World Cup but hasn't really been given a chance.
