Frankly, this place is lovely without DemonHorse. Quincy was good though.

No, Andy, Baggie didn't go anywhere, he's just been a busy boy, and I was never one for zombies -- though the brief foray into Hogwarts this morning was amusing. That was easily spotted from the first sentence. Shocker!

I'm still laughing from the bumpkins Newsbeat interviewed regarding the U.S. presidential elections. I was sitting here cringing and the first thing I thought of (besides "oh my God, how embarrassing") was how entirely fake they sounded. Moyles was spot on and very funny with his comments. Perfect! That was topped only by him (eventually) playing my favourite Killers song. I wonder how many people were sitting there doing the same thing I was, shouting and saying, "Yes, that's 'All These Things That I've Done'!" Brilliant.

Also - you know those motivational posters you tend to get in places of work with the captions underneath - well on a forum that my mate frequents, people have been posting some custom ones...

Here are some of my favourites.

My friends Mary and Al and their lad Kam are coming to see us at Christmas! Mary nearly died a couple of years ago, and Kam (same age as baby Yudster) lived with us for a short while - it'll be interesting to see if he and BY remember each other. Anyway, they went off to live in the middle of nowhere (in Dorset. It's really lovely, you should go there) when she recovered after a second kidney transplant, the first one having failed spectacularly, and are blissfully happy living the Good Life down there with no TV and no internet. Sounds like heaven.

Anyway, I'm smiling because I can't wait to see them.

Nice one Yudwuk!

Yes, I'd thoroughly recommend it. Well, if I didn't get there, someone else would.

I don't know if I should admit this and I know I'm too young to have seen it when it was first aired, but I really do like that programme.

The Lewis Hamilton thread. I thought it might be a little dull, but there's some real action going on there. I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to poke the Beadle. Blimey!

Frankly, that was better when it was about the racing. But not if you're not a motor racing fan, I guess.

Ah he's just teddy bear who uses his debating skills to make up for his very small willy.

Out of interest, do you need a laptop because you will be taking it out on the move with you, or did you just decide to waste extra money on a laptop instead of getting a cheaper desktop?

I will be taking out on the move with me, like when I'm home from uni and also when going on placement.

See I got a laptop because I just like wasting money. Plus I figured I'd get the quickest one I could with the best graphics card as that will help me send my emails and post on here. No hang on I got a laptop so I can use it wherever I like in the house without being disturbed or disturbing anyone else. Plus I don't really have anywhere I can put a full desktop setup.

There are loads of reasons why someone would choose a laptop over a desktop.
