My house is a choc free zone at the moment. I ate a whole pack of jaffa cakes at work today to make up for it :(

They look home made.... amazing! I'd feel guilty eating chocolate just now while my boyfriends out playing football(2 games of 5ives in a row). I'm meant to be on a diet for our holls. He's prob counted all the chocolate anyway :(

Now Kendra I am not a huge sweet things fan but my god those look amazing!!! How come here we just get silly pastel colored (note american spelling for Kendra's sake) sugar strands or hundreds & thousands and in the states they get those sprinkles? I want those sprinkles and a recipe for frosting!

I think Kendra understands 'colour', in fact she sometimes uses English spellings herself (or used to.)

I might bake some cupcakes tonite actually. I was watching Sex & The City dvds yesterday and in one scene Carrie and Miranda were eating cakes like in those pics, they looked so good! I need a new bun tin tho. I also want a retro style apron so I can pretend to be a 50s housewife. I am in love with this one:

but it's 30 quid, upsettingly.

S4 Tesco do a Chocolate Muffin kit which are really nice, just add 100ml of water and you get 4 tasty muffins, with soft melted chocolate centre, it's Cadbury's and amazingly only 50p a box. ( the cheescake mix from green is also a bargain at 40p !)

Problem with all of those packet mixes is that as far as I am concerned, cakes have flour, sugar, butter and eggs in - with various other flavouring ingredients such as fruit or chocolate. The list of unfathomable stuff in those packet mixes is as long as your arm, I don't want to eat all that stuff. If you bake from scratch at least you know what you're eating at the end of it.

Yuds is right, if your gonna make food that aint that great for you, at least make it with the raw ingredients. Im dubious about eating anything that has things in the ingredients I aint heard of.

While we're on a tartan tangent, I went for a pub lunch today and there was a drunken jock in there. I wasn't surprised.
