I wouldn't bother. I found myself waiting for "Mad World" to come on and it was right at the end.

No, could mess with your head that. But isn't it a fact that it is impossible to Time Travel otherwise we would know about people visiting us from the future? But would people believe us? And if we went to the future would you want to know your own death or would that just mess with your head 8O

You really need the extras as it explains the film more.

I do computer animation in university, and we were told to write a review on a film and an animation, and I nearly chose that for my film, but a quick review from a mate told me not to for that "A level course work" reason, and that really pissed me off when films are like that. I've heard mixed reviews about it, I still havent seen it, but I will do soon.

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places
Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where
Going no where
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression
No expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow
And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad

No that doesn't make time travel impossible, kinda gives reasons why we shouldn't but doesn't disprove anything. Also gives reasons why future people may not travel back through time (all the protecting the timeline stuff thats been the basis of almost every work about time travel since HG Wells the Time Machine, and probably most notably in Doctor Who)

I totally understood the film in one sitting on saturday night, and I've ordered the directors cut DVD coz I thought it was bloody brilliant.
Donnie's sister was real cute too, even when she says the immortal line "did you just call me a f**ka$$?".

The current thinking on time travel is this; you can travel to the future, but not to the past and according to Einstein's relativity theory we should be able to see the past, but not the future. The grandfather paradox kinda backs this up.

If you travel close to the speed of light you slow down time for yourself and therefore travel forward in time. In theory, if you travel faster than the speed of light then time will start going backwards. I think they have yet to discover if traveling faster than the speed of light is possible though.

There's still the grandfather paradox though, it pratically proves that travelling back in time is impossible on its own.

That doesn't prove anything, because who in their right mind would want to go back in time and shoot their own grandfather.

Would be a great way to go though...

If you shot you're own grandfather and then went born, you wouldn't be able to go back in time to shoot your own grandfather, therefore paradox, urgo impossible.

Ah, but paradoxes are possible though. How about Xeno's paradox?

I believe they've discovered particles/molecules that can do it, but whether it's practically and viably possible for humans to do it is what's in question.

A good point, but it doesn't take into account infinite space and time, it views it as a discrete problem. The two infitinte of both time and space make motion possible and the paradox false. IIRC. :?

I remember having this argument in the chat room with someone about how if you could have your tea in england then fly to america and have it at the same time, but would you be going back in time?
