Ricardo Montalban, famous either for being Mr Roarke of Fantasy Island or Captain Kirk's nemesis (and one of foots' favourite people to shout from what I've seen) Khan has died age 88.

The Prisoner was filmed in Portmeiron in North Wales. We have it on VHS box set (possibly the last time i'll ever type that) and went to see where it was filmed on our holidays. It's a nice place to visit for half a day or so.

Loving Saviours avatar. I once had a picture on The Gallery. It was a boat. Sadly they couldn't return it.

In fairness, posting your phone number when you are well known to millions of people is probably a naive thing to do.

We got drunk one night and phoned the number on his website.

He answered. :?

It was a bit awkward.

People often die in january.

Thats not right, people ony die once. Its just it's often in January.

That's still not right........I shall assume you all know what I mean and withdraw from this post before I get more tangled up than I already am.

It's odd to think that my boss, who is 50, was entertained by him when he was a kid, all the way through the decades to my generation and younger.

He's not famous or anything but my family doctor died recently. I mention it because he treated me my mum and my nan. Apparently his surgery received 5 sacks of mail for him when it was announced. Hadn't seen him in years but I still sent a card.
