Does DannyBoy live part time in New York and part time in Belfast?

From the PMs we've exchanged in the past, I believe so. My youngest boy thinks he's "cool".

Making me smile today (which is rare lately, I realize) was the very random call I got today from a friend wanting to know if I "can handle lizards." I ran over to the house when I heard that the dog that lives there had gotten a hold of it and it was "in bits". It was a gorgeous 16" alligator lizard with spectacular red markings. The little rat bastard Yorkshire terrier had ripped its tail off in 2 pieces of 4 inches each (both still squirming around on the floor). There was blood everywhere on the Spanish tiles. It looked like a forensics crime scene. Anyhow, the poor lizard had sought refuge under the sofa in the corner. I moved the sofa and coerced it into a box (dead easy since it was cold and moving sluggishly) and walked it across the street. I found a lovely spot in the canyon where he'd have hot rocks to bask on and I released him under some scrub to recuperate. Then I went and cleaned up the tiles and picked up the remaining tail. An hour later, when I left my house to go run a wee birthday gift over to a friend's, I found a thank you note and a 12 pack of Newcastle Brown on my front stoop.

Tofu, how was looking after Joel on your own? I almost texted you.

It was brilliant, we watched Stoppit and Tidyup and went for a long walk along the river and through the cemetary. I ran out of time in the end.

Haha!

I'm positively smiling too - yesterday I had an awesome day, which has followed through to today. In addition, I'm seeing my Grandpa later, who is 75 today and there's apple and blackberry crumble with cream for lunch.

God not you too! There is something very wrong, I feel like I've been sucked into a parallel universe. What next? Is Console going to start watching Eastenders, or Nicola Red become a nun? Oh no, now I'm thinking how Nicola would look in a wimple and habit, and my subconscious lesbian side is coming out again......damn you Nicola!

Yeah. Well. Today * the rep. To be brutally honest. I've woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I do love you though!

You're so welcome! You guys are going to have so much fun! You have to go to St. Andrews to eat. The food is delicious, the bar is excellent and there are Scottish men everywhere! Oh. Oops. That last bit was more for me than for you. ;)

You should try get tickets for a David Letterman show, there is normally guys/gals standing around in times square with clip boards they ask you a question like emmm "What instrument does paul shaffer play?" its a lucks draw of whose gonna be on the show, kinda fills an afternoon if you are stuck with nothing to do, but you gotta kinda "Whoop" a lot and clap your hands but its a laugh.

I was making a sugar soft ball for Turkish delight and I read the scales wrong and put 4 ounces of sugar in instead of 4 pounds, whoopsie. Mike our chef teacher laughed a lot though.

True! On one of my last trips there some friends got tickets and wanted me to go with them. However, my best friend was there at the time, too, and given the choice of going to see David Letterman with some other friends or spending time with my best friend, I chose the latter. I do love David Letterman and his gap-toothed smile though. I've been watching him since I was in high school!

Its good fun :) last time I went was in November Bruce Wills was on, the Ed Sullivan Theater is kinda small in size so you have a good view, the whole show only takes about 45 minutes to an hour to shoot.
