everybody was happy about sheffield united losing during half-time. it was pretty much the only thing to be happy about.

west ham is a freaking joke. listening to 606 this evening was sad. a club's history doesn't do squat in the present. apparently everton are the fourth or fifth best team ever, in history. hell, sheffield wednesday day are in the top ten clubs of all time, but they lost to hull city today who are near the bottom of the table. bfd, really.

well its the same with any club really. if a team wants your player, you test their resolve and see how much they really want him by negotiating and upping the fee. dont you ever play champ manager fowler?

i think the point is if man u had offered leeds 10 million they might have said no we want a bit more, then they could have maybe offered 12, leeds would say ok call it 15. you get the idea. 28 million is excessive for any player. and carrick for 16 is lunacy.
