Dear God! Does she actually know Jade Goody on a personal level, if not why is she crying, people sadly die everyday from Cancer, does she cry for them as well?

Oh BTW, forgot to mention, that The Sun did lead with the Jade Goody story rather than the Sri Lankan terrorist attacks, good to see they have their priorities right

it was actually quite sad to read the description of todays christening-the comparison with the happiness and excitement of her wedding couldnt be more stark. She was in a wheelchair throughout todays service, barely able to stay awake.Even Max Cliford said today would be the last public t hing she did and was saying her 'last goodbyes'. I get the very definate impressin that shes fading away quite fast now,and her death could be reported at any time.

Good. For her sake firstly (the less time in pain the better at this point), but for all our sakes too.

Where on that page does it indicate she's in her final hours?

"Goody, diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2008, has been told she has just weeks to live after the disease spread to her liver, groin and bowel."

We are all in our final hours from the minute we are born, surely.

Wake me up when it's her final hour.

It's a shame i think that there's so much publicity around this.

Firstly, despite Jade wanting it to be open to highlight awareness, she's not getting the privacy that everyone deserves.
Secondly, with so many people dying all over the world, what makes her so special?

She and her family have my sympathy but then again, so does everyone else who goes through the trauma of terminal illness.

I'm surprised that people feel the need to be so snipy about Jade, not necessarily on here but in general.

Yes many other people the world over are dying from cancer, but you can have empathy for them and still be concerned about Jade Goody, the two are not mutually exclusive. Being a 'celebrity' is her job, it's what she does for a living, so why should she hide away and not do her job? Maybe slinking off to die quietly is what's right for some but clearly not for her. Whatever gets you through in that situation, I suppose. If, God forbid, the same were to happen to me and I had the opportunity to do earn as much money as possible for my children I would probably do the same.

The reason she's getting so much press and millions of others are not, is quite obvious I would have thought. She, like it or not, is famous and is courting media interest, sadly others do not have that opportunity. It doesn't mean she shouldn't do it though.

But being I dispise the notion of a celebrity culture where someone can have "being a celebrity" as their job. Just because she is diagnosed with cancer doesn't change that. Some would say that it might change her, but that's not what has happened.

I don't think whose who have had a pop at Jade are slagging off folk with cancer, they are slagging the whole circus that is following her about, with Max Clifford as the ring leader.

Not at all. The public, like it or not, are obsessed with other peoples lives and reading every intricate detail as though its a soap opera. If the public was not interested, she wouldn't be famous, end of story. I fail to see why this womans life or death is front page news and, quite frankly, it is wrong.

I sort of agree, but the point I was trying (badly it seems) to make was why should she not make the most of her opportunities just because some people find it distasteful?

I too am of the school of thought that you should have a talent to be famous, but times change and people can become famous these days for being on a reality show. Nowhere, by the way, did I say people with cancer were being slagged off

That, obviously, would be your decision. I disagree with it myself; as someone has already pointed out, there is a massive difference between ensuring they have a chance of a comfortable life and making sure they are incredibly wealthy. I would like to think I'd do the former and any more money I made would go to various cancer charities.

I just dont see why i should be forced to watch some woman i have never met, dont know, or have no interest in, slowly die?

It's sick, it's disgusting, it's just not right. It's on a par with Jordan giving birth live on camera..... some things should be kept private.

In fairness, no one is forcing you to watch anyone.

Bit tough when it's all over the news and in every newspaper, with massive headlines detailing her every breath.....

Well there's lots of things in the public domain that I'd rather not be subjected too, but sadly I don't have control over what the 'meeja' do, say or print.

Re: her earnings, I have no idea whether she's donating anything to charity so I can't really comment on it. Either way, it's all subjective and makes for interesting reading.

the rumours that she might have died appear to have bene sparked off because Jack Tweedy was called to her house during the night, breaking his curfew.Max Clifford is saying her condition has deteriorated and is on 'the brink' so she may not be dead yet buit it look slike it could be her final hours
