Yes many other people the world over are dying from cancer, but you can have empathy for them and still be concerned about Jade Goody, the two are not mutually exclusive. Being a 'celebrity' is her job, it's what she does for a living, so why should she hide away and not do her job? Maybe slinking off to die quietly is what's right for some but clearly not for her. Whatever gets you through in that situation, I suppose. If, God forbid, the same were to happen to me and I had the opportunity to do earn as much money as possible for my children I would probably do the same.
But being I dispise the notion of a celebrity culture where someone can have "being a celebrity" as their job. Just because she is diagnosed with cancer doesn't change that. Some would say that it might change her, but that's not what has happened.
I don't think whose who have had a pop at Jade are slagging off folk with cancer, they are slagging the whole circus that is following her about, with Max Clifford as the ring leader.

Not at all. The public, like it or not, are obsessed with other peoples lives and reading every intricate detail as though its a soap opera. If the public was not interested, she wouldn't be famous, end of story. I fail to see why this womans life or death is front page news and, quite frankly, it is wrong.
