This thread seems to have died. Has everyone lost interest in the footie?
Champions League tonight - hope Arsenal go out. Gutted Chelsea didn't. Liverpool - not quite sure how they are still doing it really. And Craig Bellamy is a squirty little Welsh tosser. If United don't get through tonight Mr Yudster will cry, and thats not pretty so they'd better hold on.

Colchester have got their 52 points and seem to have decided that's enough, have to say our form has been poor the last couple of weeks. I hope we don't colllapse completely, it would be such a waste of the rest of the season - but at least we are safe, which we would have grabbed with both hands if it was offered at the start of the season. And Leeds are going down......well well well. I never would have thought in a million years that Colchester United would ever be in a higher division than Leeds United.

Annoyingly Chelsea went through, I would have loved them to have crashed out to Porto, but hey ho.

Good luck to Lille tonight.

Oh, and how cool was the fight at Inter......... what a punch at the end.

Booyah!!!

Barcelona ? One of Chelsea's biggest rivals? What are you on about? Rivalries need to be built up over a period of time. You've played them twice (over two legs) in the last few years that's all.

I don't know, these Chelsea fans, they buy two titles and suddenly they think they're the best in Europe (still yet to be proven).

You only win it when a rich twat buys your club and spends hundreds of millions of pounds on players and a crap excuse of a manager.

I disagree there Flower, Jose is an excellent manager, probably one of the best in Europe, alas he was also bought. However they don't need him there, they could win the title with a raddish as manager with the players they've got. I soooooo hope that he leaves them though. I think he's good for the game and would be well employed in a less cash rich club.

I'm sorry my man, what I was alluding to was the fact that Sir Alex (especially during the biased years with 8 minutes of added time at Old Trafford) was pretty much the chief exponent of the "moaning about referees" movement, I then went on to go so far as to say he was pretty much the inventor of the activity. I know there were the odd moaners before, but (queue Marjorie Dawes impression) "he is summin else".

He really took ref-bashing to a new level, and thus for a Man Utd fan/follower to criticise Jose for the same practice is very hypocritical indeed.

Hah, have to agree with you there, that was quite shocking at times.

I hope its a Man Utd v RS final and Rooney scores the winner in the last minute. He will have my forgiveness then.

Or better scores 5.
