Barry Letts, Producer of Doctor Who from 1970-1974, has passed away. He was the Producer of all of Jon Pertwee's era of Doctor Who as well as Tom's first story when he took over.

Yes he had had chemotherapy recently and was recovering well, sadly however he lost his battle in the end.

I remember seeing the papers while I was at college in '99 when he came out - it was a very big deal.

It's clear to see why 'No Matter What' featuring his vocals was such a hit.

Former? Well, I know he's former now he's died, but he was still a boyzone singer before that - my sister saw them live 2 weeks ago.

3) why put "lead singer" in the thread title? why not put "Stephen Gately"? it's obvious why. It's cos you're trying to shock people by making them think it's Ronan Keating who's passed away. I did not know the news until coming on here. Working in a warehouse and all. So the news today from bradcalli has come in useful for once.

My point, and Nicolas, isn't that he had posted the news, my point is that he had posted it in one thread (where the news is MEANT to go) then started another topic in what seems like his usual style of being "the one in the know". I thought that, considering the topic, it was in pretty bad taste.

Sorry, but there's not a chance in hell I will apologise for posting my opinion. I didn't use personal insults or off-topic abuse, I certainly have no intention of bullying anyone and I was in no way having a dig "just for the hell of it", so I don't see I have any reason to. He did not simply state the facts - he twisted them to make himself and his thread look more interesting and 'in the know', as usual. We all know that bradcali pays no attention to what people say anyway, he just carries on posting his rubbish, so I doubt you have any need to take on the role of cheerleader for him. I hope I've made myself clear.
