One...I've still not slept properly so my mood swings have now gone crazy from 4 months of lack of sleep.
Two...I have the world's biggest mouth ulcer and it'd decided to burst as well and it hurts like a bitch.
Three...my best friend of 6 years has decided to leave me and my mate out of her holiday plans and arranged something with everyone else in our crew.
Four...She called me immature for sending a text asking why the hell she's done that when I'm not the one saying who my friends are allowed to go out with.
Five...I had the bus driver with the ridiculous beard (it looks like he's stuck cotton wool to his face) trying to make me pay instead of using my bus pass even though I was going to college and it was just after 9.
Six...The head of humanities at college is a right bitch and is driving the lecturers and me insane as she is a Nazi and has no compassion what so ever about illness or even death.
ANGER!

Deep breaths. Ask yourself: "what would a pigeon do?"

God you lot are sooo miserable!!! Cheer up and calm down, it'll all seem better after a good nights sleep.

Ezza, you will be appreciative of the rubber bands in a few months! Boil kettles & pans of water for a hot bath then put on lots of clothes and cover yourself with an extra duvet.

Lottie, Ignore the silly girls who are obviously still playing in a playground, get drunk and it will both help you sleep and provide anaesthetic for your ulcer, Heads of departments are supposed to be evil, they are concerned with league tables not people! Once you accept that then life will be good again. (By the way, you're really in a bad mood cos you're missing Alex!?)

It only hurts a little. My friend laughed at me, and another girl, who's 8 or 9 ran away screaming. That didn't help.

That said - I had them, they were bloody painful.

They used to snap off at random intervals - believe me, that wasn't fun. Rubber bands snapping off the inside of yer mouth is, in a word, sore.

I also had a brace which had a device on it (we shall call it a 'claw'), the sole purpose of which was to move one of my teeth back about a centimeter. While I appreciate the benifit now - the tooth was not up for moving without a fight. Dentists are evil.

I'm glad I don't have a "claw". Just bands pulling back the top set of teeth, to minimise the overbite. Not too bad I guess. Could be worse.

Currently, just showing people them seems to have a great effect. I can work on flicking them though.

Probably give the nearest person a killer disease out of spite.

Someone remind S4B what this thread is all about, please.

S4B wrote:I think that would be VERY unhygenic!

But fun. Don't be miserable.

Yeah but you're not going to sleep properly if you're on here instead of trying some relaxation techniques to get to sleep. If nothing works then you have to do what I do and just accept it rather than complain. I get an average of 4 hours sleep a night, have done for years, eventually your body gets used to it.

What's annoying me is the fact that my youngest has been sick since the 22nd of January and when he finally was well enough to attend school he went 2 days late last week and caught something else. I just spent 1.5 hours at the doctors to be told he has dual ear infections and bronchitis. Due to his fevers and not being able to breathe because of his filled up lungs, I've had no sleep in 4 nights. None. I'm practically delirious.

Now, Ez, you have my sympathies on the mouth issue. Had braces put on when I was 26 and they were on for 2 or 3 years. I had to have 8 teeth removed in order to have the blessed braces. No fun.

Charlalala, the reason they mention no liquor to help you sleep is because the sugars and carbohydrates that are in it actually give you energy and convert to fat rather than help you sleep. It makes you have to wee, nothing more. Try some lavender oil in a hot bath before bed.

I am in a battle with my local Council re: the state of the local libraries. On Saturday, I couldn't get internet access, the IT dept. doesn't work on a Saturday, so no chance of getting it fixed. Also, the Internet is as slow as can be. I've made an official complaint, and am feeling quite pleased with myself.

If its really bad, Bonjela won't help. Try Adcortyl in Orobase. In fact thats probably what your doctor will prescribe. Its a kind of almost gritty ointment that forms a sticky, waterproof paste when you smear it on the ulcer - it's horrible to use, but the only thing that works for really bad ulcers. My oldest gets them a lot, three or four at a time, each the size of a 50p piece. It's no wonder he's so skinny, he spends half his life physically unable to eat. Anyway, this Orobase/Adcortyl stuff is the only thing that helps.

I planned a nice night in with Rach watching sex and the city and before we could even get started i had a pain attack, sucking on gas and air feeling as high as a cloud and very happy then the ambulance men go and take it with them so i'm back in pain stuck in some cubical. Find out the hospital did the wrong MRI Scan and i need to have the one i was supposed to have with the dye and then i can have surgery, strong painkillers are helping me right now though.

Hope you feel better soon Cat....

My dog has attacked 3 other dogs in 2 days now and got savaged by an Alsatian she went for who shook her like a rag doll. She seems to show no fear and plays with any dog but at some point she just snaps and goes for them. Not a clue why and I'm worried that she won't learn until she has a serious injury or worse......I'm fearful of taking her out of the house now as I don't know what dog she'll go for next.

Nope, never had to in the past, she's normally very well behaved and social. She seems to show no fear, she's happy playing with much bigger dogs and dogs her own size (there are only a few smaller) and she's never had a problem but in the last 2 days she's gone for 3 dogs, however she's played with lots of others... I can't find her trigger and she's been spayed so she's not in season and I'm worried!
