I just thought I'd let you all know (not that any of you will be remotely interested) that over the last few days I've been in talks with people about a new TV show that just might be coming to kids TV screens.

You probably dont really know, but I'm an Animation student, and over the last few days, I've been speaking to a few TV producers, and they'd like me to do the Animation for that programme. I dont know much about the actual show itself yet, but they are also in talks to get Ricky Tomlinson to do the voice for it.

Anyway, its all pretty cool, and I'm excited about it, this is also why my review for Friday is late, but it'll be up by the end of the week.

im having a great time at the moment. for example today i found a long lost ten metre extension lead under my bed, so now i can watch tv in the garden (up to and including 10 metres from the house)

I'm throwing a sickie today if that counts. My next holiday wont be till next July. Im not at work the week before Chrimbo though

I've not had a holiday all summer. In fact I haven't had a weeks holiday since I started this job on July 19th 2004. Its very depressing! Am going to the Gran Canaria with the seldom here now flyinghippo.

I always feel too guilty to throw sickies. There's a guy in work who does that all the time and all the paralegals hate him with a passion. Its better to stay on the right side of the paralegals as they do most of your work if you are clever!

They will do most of your work if you pull a sickie as well probably, so you win either way.

(I am just presuming, I have no idea what your work situation is)

I would doubt it. They don't really care if the company gets sued if we miss a date to submit say defences or get stuff wrong. Its not their indemnity insurance.

Its best to get on with the people you work with and at least look like you are pulling your own weight. It peed me off when the people in my firm (mostly guys) treat the paralegals like dirt. They should treat people how they wish to be treated.
