Was listening to the Colin and Edith show (Slow period in the office, am bored and other similar excuses) and they were saying that most people don't take a lunch. What bout you guys?

Lunch being defined as a time where you aren't working, in the staffroom etc.

yes i have a 30 minute lunch in the tiny staff room usually readin a paper that is 5 days old or more and eating a packet of crisps wishing i had bothered to make a better lunch.

Our staffroom is crappy too.... old newspapers everywhere, a broken black and white telly lying in one corner and pictures of the staff in drunken nights out on the walls. I like to take lunch in my office.

Never fancied raw fish. Always thought it would taste funny. Like M and S stuff tho.

Wish I was back at my student days where lunch lasted 4 hrs and then it was hometime.

Kids- don't bother joining the workforce. Stay at unin, college, school as long as poss.

I normally take a trip down the co-op which takes about 15 mins, then sit and eat my purchaces in the office working at the same time.

I am entitled to an hour but I rarely take the full whack. Normally half an hour or so.

i'm in the same boat as topher. it sucks because i can't take my lunch untill after somebody else does, but usually when she gets back it's hard to get coverage for my lunch and i have to keep looking over my goons.

i take as close to 30 mins as possible on the clock machine.

Marks & Spencers sandwiches are good but too dear for every day. I can't eat in my new office so have to sit outside like the pleb i am.

i didnt have any lunchtime this week because i ran out of money and couldnt get food from college.

on monday i blagged second-hand leftover potato wedges and spent my last 35p on a packet of nik-niks (nice n' spicy). on tuesday i got a slice of battenburg, a pringle and bag of chips which was bought for me by the friend of a girl who wants my ass. today i cooked something at home cos i wasnt in till 1.

i love college.

we get an hour for lunch at school spend 1/2 hour in a busy que and then other half in the form room on the computers and singing along to music and doing hair and makeup..
