If Rio's performance for you lot at the weekend is anything to go by, he should never be seen in an England shirt again!

He reckons he'll improve, we'll see.

At the moment I would say Rio and Terry, as Campbell has only just come back from injury so is not at his best yet (but is still playing great).

But Terry shoud always be in the squad imo.

Hes playing better than alot of centre defenders in the Premiership at the moment. So looks great compared to them, even though he can play a lot better.

Ferdinand is the 5th best english central defender at the moment and when Woodgate plays a bit more he won't even be that.

Terry & Campbell

Terry for sure. I dont care if he plays for Chelsea he's a great player. Sol Campbell has been doing well recently. But mabie thats becuase he's had to. A defender scoring 2 goals in a match, he was going for a hat trick that night, but sadly no more corners for him.

Going on past performances, definitely Ferdinand and Campbell.

I kind of hope Ferdinand is axed because hopefully it will give him a massive kick up the arse.

It appears it's Ferdinand and Terry.

Same old Sven, picked on reputation not form. David James makes a few mistakes, he's instantly dropped, however Sven wouldn't dream of it with Rio somehow! I pray to God he doesn't play Crouch, but I think he will do!

I don't know who's worse, Sven himself or the FA for STILL not sacking him!

All the papers seem to think that Ferdinand will be dropped, but that analyst guy on Sky Sports News seems to think that Ferdinand and Terry are the best choice.

Well would you believe it? Looks like Sven came on here last night and read my message! Hope it's true!

Still awaiting the announcement on Peter Crouch...
