Family Guy is one of the funniest things i've seen in a while...caught a few of them on FX a couple of months ago. Then I went out and brought the first 2 seasons on DVD. And I was in stiches the whole way through.
It's genius...specially Stewie, and the things he says to louis!

Wouldn't go that far. Even if it is it will never be as sucsessful. But iam glad it's here, i will be watching it instead of Simpson repeats (no offecnce to the Simpsons).

The BBC are actually starting with Series 3 of Family Guy and not the new season 4 for some reason.

that is really good advice. i was bummed that fox moved arrested development from sunday nights (and thus on the brink of extinction) for such a lame show.

it's also sad that family guy is pretty lame now as well. seth mcfarlane bought into the hype.

Hasn't Fox committed to at least 4 seasons of Arrested Development now though? I read that they were doing this so it can get into syndication

nope. fox has just committed to a 3rd season. unfortunately (sort of) there haven't been any episodes this past month due to the baseball playoffs. (go sox!!!) we'll see what happens in november.

you should watch arrested development.

and the white sox will win now that they have your support. my boyfriend's from chicago and was raised a sox fan. it's the only thing i can talk to his dad about (none of the kids like baseball much).

Well Jason Bateman did allure that Fox wanted it to go to to at least 4, just before Season 3 was anounced as returning so we can only hope it gets renewed next year.

right now it all depends on what the ratings are post-baseball. the last new episode had an increase of 400,000 viewers. if that continues, we could see a 4th season, though i'm not holding my breath.

also, didn't david cross allude once that they were cancelled? i don't trust any of them.

I dunno, whatever Bateman said, the creator backed up, so I'm thinking Season 4 is on the cards, but that will probably be the last.

Anyway, the BBC aren't even halfway through season 2 yet, annoyingly

really? season was pretty funny, but watch out- season 3 has been something of a disappointment. not bad, but not as funny as seasons 1 and 2.

Season 2 seems to have "dumbed down" a bit - the episode on the other day was the one with the disabled fake uncle jack, and it was just resorting to slapstick in the end.

There has only been 3 eps of Season 3 so far hasn't there? Don't be so quick to judge Kendra!

that episode, ready, aim, marry me, may have "jumped the shark". you should get the dvd's of season 2. they talk about that. it's not the best, but well... season 3 is somehow even more stupid. (british spies played by dave thomas and charlize theron?) i'm really trying not to judge but... i have nothing to live for on tv, as i complained about yesterday.

I'll probably get the dvds when they come out on Region 2. I cant really afford any more dvds at the moment. Season 1 came out hear the day after the finale, so hopefully season 2 will as well.

I must say the saving grace of ready, aim, marry me was Tobias's tape recorder!
