Vote by either replying yes or no.

Don't want to post this in the public domain, just on the off chance.

Major developments tonight! Things have got to the point where I either have to send a text to this girl or live in celebacy for the rest of my life. Should I send it, yes or no.

I already know what the responce is going to be, so I might as well write the text in preperation.

Yes def. What have you got to lose?

Is she a good friend or you not really know her?

If you don't really know her then you deffinetly have nothing to loose.

If she is a good friend then go for it. I asked a good friend once, I wasn't successful, but we're still good friends.

She is a good friend.

Basically the story goes thus:

On Sunday night me and a different good mate entered a pub quiz. As there was only the 2 of us and the quiz was aimed at people over 50 we lost and won the booby prize - a bottle of cheap sweet white wine. My friend didn't want the wine so she said I could have it. Anyway, I was walking home through the square and she was there with another couple of her friends. They spotted that I was carrying alcohol so called me over. Fortunately it was a bottle of wine you don't need a corkscrew to open. I gave them all a swig of wine (which was predictably discusting) and her 2 friends went to the Chinese take-away and left me waiting with her. It transpired that they were waiting for a taxi. Anyway we were chatting for a good 10 minutes until her friends returned.

I decided to wait with them, just to be around her. Anyway, the obligatory tosser shows up in the form of the one of the village idiots (there are many). This one is the sort of person who knows everyone and thinks he knows everyones private affairs too. When he saw her he proclaimed that he knew who she was and that she used to go out with another one of my best mates. She said that it wasn't true and asked me for backup. To be honest, I thought she had gone out with him too (although it was a long time ago) so said I was keeping quiet. However, as I wasn't 100% sure, I decided to text my mate to confirm or deny the accusation. He texted back saying that they never went out but were just good friends, so I cleared the situation up.

When she discovered that I had his number she asked me if she could have it because she had lost touch with him years ago. So I gave the number to her (and one of her other mates too, who also used to be friends with him). She immediately texted him and he texted back telling her to give me a kiss (he knows I fancy her). Anyway, after a short moment of embarrasment while we brushed over this suggestion we carried on waiting.

Continued...

Sorry, I pressed the reply button accidentally before I'd finished the story...

Finally the taxi arrived and I bid them all good night. Heard nothing more from any of them until last night.

Last night I was in the pub and predictably she was in there with a group of her friends. One of her mates was messing about with Bluetooth and she asked me what my Bluetooth name was on my phone. A few minutes later I recieved a note in my organiser saying "She loves you" (obviously replace 'she' with her name in this instance). I felt really embarrased but really flattered at the same time, and I didn't really know what to do. So I did what I do best and just ignored it and pretended like nothing happened. A few minutes later I got another note saying "Don't listen to friend shes a dog!". I assume that message was from her. Again, I ignored, and eventually went home.

I expected some outside influence in this, so I texted my other mate, the one whos number I had given to her. He denied that he had spoken to her or anyone else about me, but told me that it was obvious that she liked me and told me to text her. I told him I didn't have her number, so he sent it to me.

So now I have no excuses left. I'm still really confused about the whole thing, and still don't know wether to just carry on in denial...

If she says no then at least you'll know...

If she says yes then horray.

If you don't ask then for the rest of your life you will be left wondering.

She used to, she admitted that much. The thought had crossed my mind that she might be using me to get to him, but since he lives in Wakefield then I don't care too much.

I don't care about that. Anyway, it may not happen anyway.

Update time.

I bit the bullet last night, decided to take a tactful approach, and simply asked if the mate who sent me the bluetooth message was tring to tell me something. She texted me back and said she was just winding me up. :(

Although, as Gaspode said before, I do feel a hell of a lot better now I have done something.
