RI:SE only got popular cos of the exclusives they had on Big Brother. Now thats finished, theyve lost 200,000 viewers. You mightnt think thats a lot until you realize they only had 400,000 viewers in the first place.

Oh, that's another thing I thought was funny, how the first edition had fewer viewers than some kids TV show on BBC2. - jc

Children's shows on BBC Two such as The Really Wild Show were watched by up to 500,000 people.
And more viewers were watching shows like Mr Men and Little Miss on Channel 5 during the middle hour of Rise

Rise had 200,000

Bring back the Big Breakfast! I was gutted when it went off air and the only thing slightly (and thats a very slight slightly) interesting about Rise is the ticker thing which means I can get all the news in two minutes. I read it with the sound down though. I'm dreading having to get up for 6th form in a couple of weeks, I'll have nothing to watch.

It's always hard getting rid of such an established TV show, but without final viewer statistics for the BB I can't compare and contrast to current RI:SE ratings. - jc
