A survey has shown that Glaswegians are more likely to argue over pizza toppings than anyone else in Britain!

A study has shown that more than a quarter would throw an absolute tantrum if the wrong toppings showed up.. !!

I read this this morning on the way to work! And.... I swear I don't know how others feel, but this personally has got to be at the bottom of any list of priorities in life.

It depends if they put on a topping that you are allergic to and whether you notice this before you start eating. But then I don't throw tantrums anyway, I'm too placid for my own good.

We had this discussion last night in the chat - Dominos or Pizza Hut?

Personally, I'd choose Pizza Hut every time but thats coz I think my local Dominos is crap.

Also, id never complain about the wrong topping on a pizza - if I didnt like it, id just pick it off, but I doubt that would happen.

I never go in the chat... the last time I was in there, I appeared to be talking to myself...

Why don't you believe me?

Dominos is far superior to Pizza Hut, though I've never been into Pizza Hut when they haven't made a mistake so we normally get something for free (not because we complain, because they notice the mistake before we do).

Son, son, son.

**shakes head sympathetically**

Is this going to be the Kit Kat vs Twix debate again? I do feel sorry for you if you believe that!

I don't believe you because you simply don't strike me as particularly placid individual... that said, I have never met you, thus cannot be certain :-)

You lost at that one and you will lose at this one.

Viv, it has been said many times by quite a few people (who know me quite well) that if I were any more laid back, I'd be horizontal.

then why do you always reply to everything on here, rather than ignoring everything... if you were as placid as you claim to be, I would have thought you wouldn't react at all.

To be placid is to not be overly emotional in a situation, it doesn't mean that you don't react to a situation.

I did not - kit kats are the future! I prove myself right every time I eat one!

I suppose I aint had a Dominos in ages - what do I want to get? I may have one tonight.

If you notice when he replies to things, he only shows a point of view, not an emotion. He can have an opinion on something without getting worked up over it.

but my point is... he does go off on one (seeming to over-react to much stuff).... I don't believe him. He is over-emotional.

I refer you to my 10 things about you post, in particular point 2:
Topher wrote:I'm not as argumentative in real life as I can be on here; in fact I hate arguing to the point where I will go a long long way out of my way to avoid it. I don't know why I can be on here, I think it may be a letting off steam thing.

Having said that, if you choose not to believe me, that's entirely up to you. I know I'm right and your opinion doesn't matter in the slightest to me.

I like the Football Fanatic, but I'm not sure if they still do it, it was a special edition one I think. Failing that Texas BBQ (with no onions or peppers if you're like me.) Get it large, on a dominator base.

Uh huh, I can see why you say that, but as I said, if you remove the emotion that you have added to what he has said, its just a statement.

With barbeque sauce? I'm not convinced...

With a cheese base? Sounds like an odd combination.

Ok, I've kind of lost track of who said what, but for the record, Domino's is tons better than Pizza Hut, Perfect Pizza is better than Pizza Hut but not as good as Dominos (although cheaper). Twix is a tasty, satisfying, crunchy, chewy snack whereas Kit Kats are just crispy air covered with a thin layer of vaguely chocolate flavour coating. Unless you are talking Kit Kat Chunky, which is acceptable but only when well chilled.

Hmm Dominos or Pizza Hut? Round here, neither. I prefer Bella Pizza or genericlocalpizzadeliveryplace as some of them are actually quite good, and, above all, cheap.

have you ever wanted to throw pizza at someone (just out of interest) ...

No, when I get angry I tend to throw things that a) cause more damage to the target than pizza and b) I hadn't planned to eat. I threw a television at someone once. Just a small one.
