Following a discussion in the Chatroom, I am literally tearing my hair out!!

Right, as follows, you have a) a man b) a woman

these two types of people are different, right? So, why, when it comes to relationships, and simple communication; i.e. "I like you, do you like me?" (pretty much sorted at that point), is it always so damn hard? Why do people have such a fear of rejection? Will I do this, that, the other? When it all should be nice & simple. The movie, "Frankie & Johnny" covers this (love that movie!), and it gets it exactly right. It's all just plain "bonkers".

I'm not mentally insane.. don't be so cheeky! I think "more emotional" may be the phrase you are searching for. ;-)

Coming from someone in whose previous post typed "I am literally tearing my hair out", at least one of those two things is wrong.. you can't be "literally" tearing your hair out and not be insane.

No, I was "tearing my hair" out, because someone in da chatroom was asking me for advice re: what his mate should do. I advised that the mate should "smash on in there", and it started to go round and round in circles, because the guy was too afraid to make a move, which led me on to creating my latest in genius topics, regarding: why are we so afraid, when we could be gone tomorrow? The "game-playing" stuff, that's all.

Failure is never quite so frightening as regret.

Yep, you're right.. that's another post I made in the C.room, about not acting, then looking back, and thinking, "damn and blast".

Yes, but the word I am focussing on is "literally". That means you actually tore hair out of your head. I refuse to believe you did that without being.. never mind.

The word "literally" was an error then.

I'm not even going to focus on the hair pulling or Footsy's female bashing comment.

Instead, my 2 favoUrite flavoUrs of ice cream (both from the same little roadside café on the Big Island of Hawaii) are Ginger and then White Chocolate. Homemade and superb. Oh, and here at my local they have Cake Batter flavoUr, that's good, too.

It takes me ages to go from a click to something more, even though i know there is something more there. I don't like to feel rushed in to a relationship, i just like it to happen and the feelings to grow stronger with each day. I won't say after a week or two "i like you", i don't like telling people how i feel about them because i'm not comfortable with it. If you say to someone i like you the feeling might not be mutual, then the friendship that was there beforehand could take a bashing. It is all very complicated, for me anyway.

Sometimes things are so obvious it is like having a 600 lb Gorilla in the room which no one wants to mention or even acknowledge is there, and the tention builds and builds and builds until someone cant take it anymore and then does the whole reveal!

I would like to tell of a funny one, A bloke was having a passionate and intimate moment with his girlfriend and was in the throws of excitement and things were coming towards a climax and the girlfriend wanted him to be vocal NOW! The bloke did not know what to say and started to go through in his mind what would be sexy and bursted out with "TELL ME WHERE YOUR MOTHER LIVES!" The girlfriend stops and grabs her clothes and runs! He wanted to say "Who is the daddy!" but got his family members and Adverbs mixed up. :D

Just a couple of points there. Beside that being unfunny and unlikely to be true, there aren't either any adverbs in that sentence. The word you'll be looking for is verb.

I thought they taught this shit in school?

Sorry Bonanzoid you can not please 100% of people every time, but Heinz are working on it! I did not mention anywhere on there it was a fact and happened I said I would like to tell of a funny one which normally means it is made up and a joke! As for the Verb thing it has been 4 years since I have needed to explain the difference and so my mistake I will hold my hands up to that but please let us not get into the whole spelling debate! :)
