Can they not just simply show the news at 10:10pm, this shouldn't be allowed.

This has been the way that ITV (as well as other channels) have shown films for years, why complain about it now? If it's that much of a bother then spend a few quid either buying or renting the film.

ITV News at ten (or thereaboutsd) is going to end apparently - with the availablilty of 24 hour news on the BBC and Sky apparently people are not watching the regular news programmes in the way they used to. Understandable really. So, it seems ITV News will be no more and films can be broadcast all the way through. Unless you count being stopped (with excruciatingly bad editing) every 20 minutes for 5 minutes of adverts of course. Personally I'd rather watch the News.
