A fantastic listen so far, him being allowed out to play during daytime has proved to be an interesting combination. Moyles interrupting with "Whenever I'm in the UK.." - Brilliant. Cold callers, klaxons, pheumatic drills and all the rest of it, he should do all Bank Holidays, as his style is just as vibrant as Moyles's.

Oh Lord, I think I'm actually on board afterall. Good stuff.

Brilliant stuff from Zane this morning....even took time to take the mick out of Moyles himself! I laughed quite a few times. The new pigeon detectives record sounds amazing, and the music was perfectly suited to include radio 1's daytime audience, without alienating his normal 'new music' listeners.

I enjoyed the show, him attempting the tedious link was funny as the timing was well out, I hope that gets clipped.

Fantastic stuff as ever from Zip, it's great that those who listen in the morning get a chance to hear what his show is like. Good fun him imitating the breakfast style too.

I wouldn't want him every morning as I think he works better at 7, but this definitley beats 10 hour takeover.

He was brilliant, that worked really well. Can't we have Zane instead of Scott Mills when Chris goes on holiday? Pleeeeeease??!!

I agree - it'd be great to wake up to some quality music in the mornings :)

From what I heared this morning, Zane did a good job but I only listened for the last 30 mins. Yes it would be good to have him cover on bank hols and instead of scott mills when Moyles is on holiday, as mills in the morning is so predictable as he just moves his show format to the morning! at least Zane puts more effort in to make it a different type of show but still with his twist!

Yeah i really enjoyed Zane, i thought Rob Da Bank was also great, but then he did play Kaos's happy hardcore rip off of Chicago - Hold Me Now, which made me very happy :D

The only bit of your post I understood was where you said you enjoyed Zane on Brekkie - the rest reads like a foreign language to me, so I have no grounds on which to abuse it or you at this juncture.........!

Hah, just seen my mistake. Rob Da Bank played a happy hardcore track on monday, from 1996, which rips the vocals of Chicago - Hard to say i'm sorry (I've got used to calling it 'Hold me now') - The track being DJ Kaos - Hold Me Now

I usually get abuse for liking/making/DJing happy hardcore, hence the 'bringon the abuse' comment

I don't have anything against happy hardcore - but I much prefer gabba in that area of music! :D

Make that Breakcore - I get muddled with the terms sometimes ;)

I'm still undecided about Break-Core, it's not really my thing. It's effectivley gabba with hints of jungle in it, humans and their stupid sub-genres.

I do like Shitmatts stuff though, but that's more a pissatke than anything else.

Firstly, that video clip made my eyes bleed.

Then the music started and it made my ears bleed.

Each to their own and all that, but it's certainly not for me.

Nice one C-Kay! Yeah that's more of the thing i'm in to if we're talking hardcore dance.
Foots, it's a pitty the song was crap quality as the high frequency was too loud and there was no bass.

haha, i couldnt be arsed to find a decent clip, the Shitmatt clip i found of Snow - Informer, with Thomas the Tank Engine, was more 'Gabba' than Breakcore,

Here it is anyway, i dont mind this sort of breakcore, it;s just when it gets stupidly random and * up that i lose interest. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e-PeMH_cYLE

Yeah, I prefer acts like Shitmatt and Scotch Egg because they put humor into it (and songs that are well known).
