I agree and the price is so varied depending on where you are. It's 114.9p a litre in the nearest BP garage to me but Morrison's is 109.9p (either way it's ridiculous!)

I've been travelling a lot around East Anglia and the prices have varied a LOT.

Let's do a quick survey (at the risk of sounding like Viv) how much is it by you and can someone explain why it's cheaper in some towns?
#342745
Morrison is 110.9 and Tesco is 112.9 here. It's getting on my tits as well and I'm amazed there hasn't been a lorry driver barricade of petrol stations, like there was in 2000 or whenever it was.

I know the petrol companies are claiming that it's just hiked taxes, but when they report record profits, it just doesn't wash. Also, how it can be claimed that the rate of inflation is only 3% is beyond me.. petrol is going up, which means the cost of transferring grocery goods from warehouses to shops is going up and those prices get pushed on to us.

Petrol. Petrol.... What about bastard diesel, this is what they make * petrol from, and instead of being cheaper it's £130.9 at my Local Garage. Why is it more expensive than Petrol even though it is cheaper to make ? Well I'll tell you why, it's because Lorries use it, and allot of it, so it's a great way of making us all pay more for our Food as well. Robbing Labour Assholes, they * up the budget and then give away £3 billion as a result which means even people earning millions get the extra cash too, what a * waste of shambolic asshole money. The Scottish twat should take some lessons in the real world and work out £10 a week means allot to someone on £150 a week, but £15 a week means * all to someone on £60k a year, they spend that on a bottle of * wine.

House prices set to fall 20%, inflation passing 4%, no mortgages available, no new houses being built so Rent is rising, Petrol doubled in 2 years, heating bills through the roof, even the Poles are all off Home and going to Denmark because our economy is *, and what do we get ? You guessed it, Embryo debates, health & Safety Initiatives, changing the SAT's and league tables, and concern the Junta in Burhma won't let the * round table in. Well I say Bollocks they should sack the * lot of them and let Tesco run the country, they would make a lot better job of it than those expense claiming posh city boy twats and there hairy lesbian activists colleagues who sit in green leather chairs all day ( the colour of the chairs in the Bar as well as the chamber) puffing about there own piss importance and how they can't now makes £400k a year by paying there wife to answer the * phone. Wankers.

Rant officially over. I do hope the swear word blocker works on this. Sorry.

As usual Andy B you are displaying your usual diplomacy and ego! If you neither know nor care why post in the thread!? The rest of us do care! Also if petrol/ diesel is more expensive then the prices of public and private transport go up so you should care, after all that effects you!

Affects.

Far be it from me to suggest that that is what I was subtley hinting at nor was I deliberately avoiding the issue that if the costs of fuel increase then the cost of goods and services reliant upon transport also increase which has a knock on effect into almost every aspect of our day to day lives and what with all the stuff boboff went on aout it affects me just as much as other people but in a less direct way.

I'm still smug at not driving though!

You can be as smug as you like (as usual) but if they increased the price of your travel by about 20p a mile you'd soon kick up a fuss!

travel*

Also, even better than your usual amount of ego!

I think monkeys are evil. Any creature that can simultaneously suck it's own * and throw faeces at other creatures is inherently evil.

Ok, poo-throwing monkeys aren't evil if they are animations.

Petrol/Diesel prices are a joke. I'm glad i'm no longer in the job that had me driving 20k miles a year but having to pay up front for the bloody diesel.

And the monkey i've had as my avatar is evil, but it only seems to be when he's pointing.

I don't normally sign petitions, but this one, aimed at getting the duty on fuel reduced to an acceptable level, is an exception. If you also feel the urge, go to

I think that's the one I already signed actually.
