Following on from the success of The Surgery with Aled, how many of you would like to see him being put forward for his own show?

I like Aled but only in small doses and dont think people should be subjected to more than the occasional surgery appearance

He's a fantastic producer and sidekick - but I don't think that means he should get his own show. The Sunday Surgery fits his style quite well and I wouldn't mind seeing him on that again but that requires a slightly different approach.
I think he should stick to what he's best at - because he is very good at it.

He just annoys me when he talks alot

i like him getting involved in the conversations on the CM show, but he is quite annoying

and TIAL is right he is good at his job and should stick to it

I think he'd be great at the surgery, but I prefer the Moyles show when Rachel is in the studio and he is absent because he does annoy me with his pretending to be thick all the time, At least I hope he's pretending.........

I found out recently i work with one of Aleds ex boyfriends and he said Aled is lovely but does miss the point all the time

I can think of no one who I'd like less to have their own show. Find him dull, and everything he says and does is to engineer some attention onto him. It's all me, me, me.

That's one of the main reasons I like Aled. I have no idea what an Aled Jones Show would be like. I know he and I don't share a similar taste in music but I find him entertaining. I don't think anyone pretends to be anything on the show. They exaggerate their personalities some times.

I think Aled takes far more of an interst in politics and the economy and pop music so his other general knowledge suffers as a result. My missus is a great example. She can do maths equations in Greek! Yet when we moved to London she had no idea what the huge domes church in the centre of London was.

Seriously I'll make a new thread for people to post sensible general knowledge questions to put to my missus if we like. I'll post her answers word for word.

Yes, it's not an insult - the CMS team works so well together I think most of us would find it weird to hear anyone out of the context. That's why I don't listen to Chappers and Dave.

Aled is amazing he should have his own LITTLE slot in the week for aled disco theme's or something like that a hour and half long be fun to here and see if he could try and match chris and whiley ect... be fun to hear him screamin on air when something dosn't work
