Well, kind of mobile, if carrying a house brick around can be said to be convenient....

Hasn't the grown up version of him been in something recently? Looking a billion times better?

When I was on holiday they were advertising some drama he was in as a lawyer as "look, it's Zack Morris and he's all grown up!"

That guy will never be anything other than Zack.

Ghost Train, ITV, Saturday mornings? I'm fairly sure he replaced Gilbert the Alien who was also seen on that.

Ha, I vaguely remembered him as well, cheers. I thought it was Take 5 or something, but I must be thinking of something else. What was the thing that Chesney Hawkes appeared on?

The show Gilbert was on was called Gimme 5, that's probably what you're thinking of.

I remembered the alien's name, I remembered Ghost Train. I had to go looking for Nobby's name, and I originally thought Gilbert was on Ghost Train. It was only when I went looking for the clips I was reminded of Gimme 5.

I always preferred Live & Kicking < Going Live < Saturday Superstore, to be honest. I only used to flick over to watch Real Ghostbusters.

Although I'll never forget the day a band were singing "live" on Ghost Train and the tape broke. Part of my innocence died that day.

Turns out I was wrong. Gilbert was on Get Fresh, not Gimme 5. Gimme 5 came after Ghost Train! It seemed to work that Ghost Train ran when Motormouth didn't, and Gimme 5 ran when What's Up Doc didn't. Get Fresh came before them all. 20 years ago. 8O

I always thought knightmare was crap for stupid middle-class kids who probably got the crap kicked out of them each and every day.

"Where am I?"

"You're in a room"

Genius!

I was 6 when it was on. I loved it, but I remember seeing one once, the lad puts the helmet on for the first time, goes "where am I?", they tell him, then they told him to walk forward and he drowned in a bog.

He was in the game for all of one minute

Hehe, I must have missed that one. Wish I hadn't, I'd have laughed about that for weeks at school.

They are all really young! The Saturday morning shows people have mentioned are from when I was at college/uni and thus not watching but sleeping all morning. I was an ardent fan of No73...

I remember the first episode of the one that started them all - Saturday Swap Shop with Noel Edmonds, Keith Chegwin and Maggie Philbin - featuring John Craven. After that whichever one was Zoe Ball and wotsisname tall bloke was the best. Theakston, Jamie Theakston. It has to have been the pinnacle of his career.

Live and Kicking I believe... actually, maybe not because that could have been Andi Peters and Emma Ford. Or maybe they swapped presenters at one stage.
