Don't worry - it's hardly a measure of good taste!

I'm still not sure what I think about the Ting Tings. I really like their new one (We Walk), but the rest of their stuff I don't really identify with.
I voted for Last Shadow Puppets, I think their whole album is consistently good.

I can't stand the Arctic Monkeys. I don't see what the difference between them and the Last Shadow Puppets is. You can tell who the strongest influence in both bands is.

I agree with that, but then I love the Arctic Monkeys, so my whole perspective is different :D

I reckon the Radio 1 audience will prefer the Ting Tings over Duffy.

Just flicked over from the Villa game... did I miss anything good?

So far I'm confused as to what's happened to the previously really hot Natalie Imbruglia, and wondering why Fearne Cotton is standing outside a caravan.

Three awards for Duffy. Sigh. I don't get it, I really don't. Why is warbling (pitch bending, whatever you want to call it) so praised as good singing?

Anyone else think that Dave looks like one of the Pet Shop Boys (the one in the pink wig) or am i on my own on that one? :D

That Diet Coke advert with Duffy in was ridiculous.

What a poor show. Cordon and Horne were embarrassing and not at all funny (what was with the Craig David 'jokes'?), the audience sounded extremely bored and apart from KoL, nothing stood out from the live performances for me.

Actually I don't mind Duffy, I think she can sing - her music's not necessarily for me, but I do think she can sing.

*Waits for Yudwuk to shoot me down in flames with her technical singing knowledge.*

Not sure what I thought about the presenters - they were certainly a safe pair of hands but they both continuously remind me of a couple of school kids who've been let up on stage.

At least Elbow got a look-in. It was about time.

Yep. Iron Maiden too haha. Two highlights of the show by far.

Yup. Best Live Show. Although they dropped the word Best from all the awards so they won an award for Live Show. Another boring Brits yeah then. The one 2 years ago when Scissor Sisters opened up was great. This year, like so many, was embarrasing.

I don't get how they keep changing the awards. Last year Adele won the Brits School award which didn't make an appearance this year. Was it just the Adele award.

Kylie looked like she'd not been primed on any of Cordon's material so looked lost. She was really fit though although bad knees. I'd still do her though. She's on my list.

Why I insist on watching it every year I don't know. I'm just hoping for more random antics but they put a stop to that. Why not just get Noel Edmonds back if it's gonna go back to being dull. Get everyone tanked up and abandon cue cards. Make the ceremony last 3 hours if need be, just get some bloody excitement.

Oh and Take That were miming.
