Thanks, just getting them now!

Am I the only one that gets my music by doign what my parents call' the equivalent of 1980s 'home taping''? i.e.recording them on Wavepad, export as .mp3, can't be traced!

I just download torrents.

But I like to get full albums and I like to have good quality tracks as well which aren't as easy through recordings

You can export files as 1411kbps 16-bit 44.1KHz .wav files on Wavepad, going up to about 6000kbps

But I've never been caught through downloading torrents so I would rather stick with that as its quicker. Until all the torrent sites get closed down anyway!

Naughty, naughty. Its people like you who are killing...... etc etc. You shouldn't do it.

You should do what I do, and get someone else to download it, and copy it from them.

I have Beady Eye's new album (don't ask how), it sounds like a full blown Beatles tribute. Quite entertaining though all the same. I will be putting 'Sons of the Stage' on my compilation album (b-side from Bring the Light). It's a quality cover of a World Of Twist song.

I've got "post breakup sex" on there also.

I also have Beady Eye's album, which i believe is out next week. And I liked it. I thought it was better than the last couple of oasis albums at least

I do like it, don't get me wrong. Just think they're trying too hard to sound like The Beatles. Standing On The Edge Of The Noise is just Get Back with different lyrics. They'll definately get sued for that.

Mumford & Sons' debut album (Sigh no more) is good. And Neon Bible/Funeral/the Suburbs by Arcade Fire ;)

They were shite anyway.

Agreed.

If you want a compilation stick on Piazza New York Catcher or Expectations by Belle & Sebastian. Or Kimya Dawson, Tyre Swing (spelled 'tire' as she's American).

But that's a matter of opinion. In their day oasis were massive and had several number ones and have produced some absolute classics.

This thread is entitled 'good music'. Mumford and Sons is music to impregnate your own sister to and does not qualify under the 'good' banner. :)

Yep, in their day Oasis were good. Their day began in 1994 and ended in 1995.
