That songs awful tho, just a bunch of squeaky noises to me. I like the Verve, it's the best song there and the video matches. It's cool at the end of Cruel Intentions, although a little sad.

Of course it didn't have any effect on MTV as it didn't excist, they were one of the first groups to use videos as a form other than using it to show a perfomance of the song that was popular.

but where is basement jaxx 'where's your head at?'? that rules. i agree thriller shuld be in there. and also 'lazy'.
also any blazing squad video is funny seeing the middles class, private school idiots trying to be 'street' to a really really crappy song.
o and for a worst video nomination - romeo and juliet by dire straits. absolutely superb song but the video is awful.

I love that REM song, will have to tune in to T in the Park next week and listen to them live. That's all I watch on a Sunday morning, even if you have three hundred channels, I can't find much to watch bar music then.
