Ok im hoping someone can answer this for me........Isnt pop as in Pop music short for popular????<P>I only ask because i heard someone say the other that Richard Ascrofts single was more "pop" in which case surely thats a good thing??????? Although it does seem recently that any band that does sell a lot of records suddenly become "crap" an "sell-outs" because you cant be popular and retain credibility it seems.  Anyway im just rambling now........

Pop is now a style of music, for instants you could have a "Pop" style song that isn't popular. Also people like Posh Spice who release "garage" isn't really garage its "pop" in a garage style (but is still pop [and crap])
