I'm doing some coursework at school about the non-dangers of chatrooms. so I need to find the views of people who use the internet-ie you lot. I was hoping you could answer my question. most chatrooms ive been in have clearly stated that it was for 16+, not that they were sexual in anyway but because there might be swearing but there were still 13 year olds in there. Its like 13 year olds going to the cinema to see an 18 film.
If there was a moderator for each room then there would be no bother. Plus if there was a bot killer on yahoo chat it would be a godsend.

I never go to chat rooms these days, I only use Msn where I know I'm in control of who speaks to me.

I guess they can be used correctly, but also abused.

If people all abide by the set guidelines/rules then they are fine controlled things. However, it is hard to moniter some chatrooms and so I guess if you wanted to go meet someone it wouldn't be that difficult.

What can I say I was conned by a beautiful woman? I'm with Miranda Sawyer... (although not literally as her face is scary).

Unless Lewis is in there telling you to "go home".

By the way, while we're on the subject, I may as well get a plug in... #radio1 is now under new management.

stating the obvious about stating the obvious about stating the obvious... locked in an eternal loop.

if you trip you have still stabbed yourself even if it is an accident.

Hence the reason why gaspode (golden vision) said locked in an eternal loop.
