I use Outlook Express to check all my emails including Hotmail. You can easily do this. I'm sure you've got a copy of that on your computer. You are able to include sound in emails using Outlook Express.

To include a sound in a message:

Click anywhere in the message window.

On the Format menu, point to Background, and then click Sound.

Enter the name of the file you want to include and the number of times you want the file to play.

You can only do it if the message is being sent as HTML. If the reader is using a email program that doesn't support HTML then it won't work.

To be honest I'd avoid doing it anyway. MIDI files bug the crap out of me...

No, he already said, he's using hotmail.

I don't think you can send HTML messages from hotmail, but I don't use it very often so I could be wrong.
