I must admit, I LOVE Ebay.
I have bought and sold loads.
When buying, read the description thoroughly, and then read again just in case, then check out the ratings the seller has using a bit of common sense, I have bought and sold from people that have low ratings, but only after checking the 'joining' date, and checking to see if they've changed ID.
There are forums and boards on Ebay itself, just click on 'Community' the people on their are usually very helpful.
just 1 thing, A friend of mine was looking at something the other day, checked the ratings, and this guy had something like 250 positives, when My mate looked down though them he noticed that quiet a few were exactly the same, he checked the item number, and they were the same things (not sure what) he e-mailed ebay and the item was taken off sale, and the ebayer dissapeared......
It semms that this particular guy had been buying positive ratibgs because he was selling something dodgy!!
I've never come across this myself though, I've only had good experience with Ebay.
(Especially when I sold a 1982 computer (Ti1944a) I had in the attic - £150 for the console, £10-£30 for each console game and £25 for magazines manuals and cassette games I had - nearly fell off my chair)
