Perfect for trash as people who dont like it dont have to read on. Sunday for wrestling fans is Wrestlemania 21 and only a paltry 8 matches from last years big 11 matches. Last years seemed to have better matches and better feuds but anyway heres my choices.
Triple H vs Batista
Batista is on a high at the moment and it seems he has no chance in losing so that means that he will. It always seems that the person with momentum balls it up and Triple H will retain the title to upset all the fans. Triple H has had horrible luck in previous manias like losing to benoit last year, being one of undertakers 12 victims and losing within 2 minutes to Ultimate Warrior in 1996. I know ive overlooked that he won undisputed championship from Jericho but that was because he was a face.
JBL vs John Cena
John Cena will win, purely to plug his rap cd and his acting leading role debut. JBL has had the title since July 04 and its time for him to drop it. He is deeply unpopular, even more so than Triple H and there is always a good guy winning a title at Mania overcoming the odds - expect JBL's stooges to interfere but Cena to hang on and win it.
Trish Stratus vs Christy Hemme
Couldnt give a rats ass but Trish will win and Christy will end up with her bare ass showing probably to plug the playboy magazine.
Akebono vs Big Show
Another non-event for me - nobody really knows what will happen and does anyone care. Big Show will probably win.
Randy Orton vs Undertaker
History dictates that Undertaker has wrestled in 12 Manias and its 12 wins to none. At the very start I was going for Orton to do an upset but in the past few weeks, its become very obvious that the Undertaker will notch up another win but they will push Orton to not be afraid of him and not be put in a squash match like Kane last year.
Shawn Michaels vs Kurt Angle
Possibly the last PPV to feature Angle because his neck is getting gradually worse. Michaels is Mr Wrestlemania. This match will overshadow every match on the card. Both are technically gifted wrestlers and the two best on the microphone probably at the moment.
Money in the Bag Ladder Match (Briefcase suspended above the ring and whoever gets briefcase has a Championship match guaranteed any time any place in the next 12 months)
Kane vs Chris Jericho vs Chris Benoit vs Shelton Benjamin vs Christian vs Edge
Edge will win, he has never had a Championship match at a PPV ever. Benoit is in there to keep the match going a long time. Kane for the powerhouse cleaning the place up, Jericho and Christian good ladder match specialists but dont seem ready to step up according to management. Shelton Benjamin is in a no lose situation, he can showcase his talent but is too green yet and is still Intercontinental Champion so has to lose it before he challenges.
Eddie Guerreo vs Rey Mysterio
The card opener most likely as no titles are on the line and both are friends who decided to fight each other for some friendly rivalry. Itll be a good fast match but noone really cares. Rey Mysterio will win because he is being groomed for champion.
