bloody stupid yanks. i went out last night only to find that the sss whatever stupid president was in port, so every cashpoint within a 3 mile radius of the dockyard had a ten mile queue, every bar you had to pay £4 to get in after queuing for an hour, then as its monday its normally stupidly cheap drinks prices, they bumped up the prices. angry. then to make things worse 5 of my mates blagged into the vip entrance at tiger tiger while the rest of us queued up because we didnt think it would be worth trying to get in vip way because of the amount of people, so then we decided to go into the city centre away from the navy base area and it was still really busy, we went in walkabout in the end because it was the only place where you didnt have to pay to get in, but it closed at 12 so we went to a nightclub which we thought the queue would have gone down a bit by that time but no it was still massive so we got a taxi home and got a kebab and went and played connect 4 and drank rum till the early hours. thanks america for that.

to ad insult to injury i just found out today that i work with someone who works part time at tiger tiger taking the vip bookings so if i had asked her i could have got in without queueing and for free.

also in the paper today it said the sailors out in portsmouth on monday were from the smaller support ship with 2000 sailors on it and the uss harry truman came in yeasterday with 5900 american losers on. looks like i wont be going out for a week. and it will get worse in the summer for the battle of trafalgar things. its good publicity for our city but if you live here its a bit annoying all the tourists all the time taking up space in your pubs and nightclubs, and stealing all the women.
