Chris has been nominated for two Sony Radio Awards this year. He has received nominations in both the "DJ of the Year" and "Daily Music Show of the Year" categories.
His competitors for the title of Best DJ are Bam Bam from Kiss 100, Christian O’Connell from XFM, Jo and Twiggy from 96 Trent FM and Jonathan Ross from Radio 2. The old afternoon show is up for Best Daily Music Show against Classic FM Drivetime, 1Xtra Lunchtime with Ace and Invisible, Robin Banks on Kiss 100 and Sam Heywood in the Afternoon on Viking FM.
The gold, silver and bronze winners in each category will be revealed at the ceremony on May 12th, at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
