I think the point of the feature/campaign has been lost. Surely it was about how you shouldn't look at images in the media and apply them to reality - ie yourself - because they aren't actually real. But the only reaction to the pictures is "wow, don't they all look great", which they do, which is surely just going to make people even more conscious of their bodies and reinforce the idea that we want to look like that?

Isn't one of the points to highlight the fact that when you look at photos of people in magazines and think they look great, they aren't necessarily real and that most of the time they have some sort of alteration done?

But thats not been the response to the pictures at all, I think they are actually reinforcing the "ideal" that Kelly and The Surgery are trying to debunk. It's no-one's fault, it's just the way people are reacting to those images. Even though we know they aren't real, we are still thinking that they are somehow attainable - or at least aspirational.

I haven't done it at all yet.

I would, however, like to enquire as to which particular style you're aiming for (and missing by the width of a barn.)

Unless you're going for the below style? In which case, spot on my friend!

It's not, it's the curtains. Remember, I sent you the left over material to make the dress out of.
