Earlier this week the site was subject to an attack which resulted in the content being replaced by a "tag" indicating that an individual had successfully hacked the site. Although the site was only in this state for a few hours, we would like to reassure anyone who visited and saw the message that there was no attempt to distribute malware and your system will not have been negatively affected in any way by viewing that message or visiting while the hack was underway.
Following an investigation into the attack it was decided to replace the old SoundVault, and you will now find the new version live on the site (as ever, thanks to Console).
As the site content had been deleted, I decided that it was a good time to do a bit of housekeeping and so you will notice a change to the navigation menu structure and the removal of some of the outdated pages. It was also decided to retire the 'gallery' section as these days everyone is well served for pictures of Chris and the team via Google. Some structural changes have been made to the site layout which may require you to edit saved bookmarks you have for certain pages, however a redirect is in place so you should automatically be sent to the new location if you follow an older link.
Most of the information which has fallen off the menus will reappear in the coming days in the The Vault, a new section of the forum.
