Radio 1's Chris Moyles has fired manager Bruno Brookes.
The drive-time DJ insists there was no bust-up, saying he simply wants to move on to bigger things.
Under two years of guidance from Bruno - a former Radio 1 star himself - Chris has become one of Britain's top DJs. His new manager is Vivienne Clore, the woman largely responsible for the successes of Zoe Ball and Johnny Vaughan.
The source said: Chris has loved working with Bruno but he just thinks that he can't do it for him any more.
He's gone with Vivienne because he wants to move on to bigger and better things. He's got the personality and confidence to be massive. He is especially keen to move into TV.
As an aside, I wonder what will happen to his official website which is owned and maintained by BBME (Bruno Brookes Management company). Time will tell!
