The Media Guardian reports that Channel Five has ordered a second run of Live With Chris Moyles, less than half-way through the first series.
The show will return for a new series in its 7pm slot next year, despite attracting a mixed critical reaction.
The show, which is produced by Chris Evans, has attracted audience ratings of up to 700,000.
Live With Chris Moyles has attracted very advertiser-friendly young males who don't watch a lot of TV so, in that sense, it has been a success, a Channel 5 spokesman told Media Guardian.
He added: It's also provided a genuine alternative to what's on offer on other channels at that time of day.
