Chris has yet again been ignored for a top prize at The Sony Awards, radio's equivalent of The Oscars. They were held tonight at London's Grosvenor House and Moyles took just one bronze award from his two nominations.
He got Bronze in the "Daily Music Show of the Year" category, beaten by Viking FM's Sam Heywood in the Afternoon (Silver) and 1Xtra Lunchtime with Ace and Invisible (Gold). Chris was also beaten in the "DJ of the Year" category, which was won by XFM's Christian O'Connell. Silver went to Jo and Twiggy from Nottingham's 96 Trent FM and Bam Bam from London's Kiss 100 took bronze. Surprisingly both Chris and Jonathan Ross missed out on the top three in this category.
Chris is still on holiday overseas but Dave, Rachel and Will all attended the ceremony in his absence.
