CHRIS MOYLES messed up his first day back on the Radio 1 Breakfast Show yesterday by using the word "f***er" on air.
The self-styled Saviour Of Radio 1 obviously thought he was still on holiday when he let slip while introducing the new DESTINY’S CHILD single, Lose My Breath.
And to make matters worse the gaffe was at 9.30am, when millions of listeners were tuned in.
The Leeds funnyman, back from a fortnight’s break, suddenly said: "Who's that other one? Not BEYONCE . . . KELLY ROWLAND — tries like a f***er."
Chris then burst out laughing as his crew collapsed in hysterics.
He immediately back-tracked, saying: "I meant thighs like a trucker — that's what I was trying to say. I apologise . . . "
He jokingly tried to pass on the blame to the DJ who filled in while he was away, saying: "You’re listening to Scott Mills."
Bosses gave Chris a stern ticking off but I understand he won’t have to look for another job just yet.
Meanwhile, Chris and his band Mouldy Lookin' Stain, which features his sidekick Comedy Dave, are releasing a downloadable version of their comedy track Dogz Don't Kill People (Wabbitz Do) for Comic Relief.
The song, a spoof of the Goldie Lookin' Chain track Guns Don't Kill People, Rappers Do, is already a huge hit with listeners.
It is available to buy now from mouldylookinstain.co.uk.
