Chris Moyles and Radio 1 have helped the BBC to its biggest-ever lead over its commercial radio rivals, according to audience figures released today by Rajar.
Chris helped Radio 1 grow its weekly audience to 10.29 million, with the show up 370,000 on a year ago, and up 160,000 in the last three months.
It means Moyles has now added around 1.2 million listeners since taking over the breakfast slot from Sara Cox in 2004.
"This is a very solid quarter for Radio 1 with significant increases year on year, and another great performance from Chris Moyles," said a Radio 1 spokesman.
Big congratulations to everyone on the show for more excellent results!
