The Pop Idol Election Bus popped its head into Chris today as candidate Will Young guested on the show after 4pm today. Lizzie was missing yesterday because she was on one of them training courses on how to be a better production assistant. Chris forgot to ask Greyhead yesterday how his murder mystery went on Friday night. Chris talks over the theme tune from the 80's TV show adapted from Roald Dahl's books, Tales Of The Unexpected. Greyhead explains there are 3 parts to the whole experience. You get a booklet telling you who you are, what you do and what kind of answers you should give. It was only until the third booklet that Will realised he was the murderer. Up until that point he had to tell the truth but now that he found out he was the murderer, he could make up lies. He was supposed to be a posh art critic so borrowed some friend's clothes. Will made Chris and Dave guess how he killed the person. Dave and Chris guessed wrong and here are some of the ideas they came up with: -
A loafer, sprocket set, black pepper grinder, 3 piece suite, TV remote control, Jordan's bra, gun, bored them to death, cantaloupe melon and Keith Chegwin.
In fact Greyhead murdered the person by filling a champagne bottle with poisonous gas so whenever they opened the bottle, they would die of the fumes. Chris comments and how the chart was strange this week as there so few new entries and songs actually went up. Chris says that Dave should ring up Chris Cowey and ask to present Top Of The Pops. They get the 80's TOTP music, which incidentally is Paul Hardcastle and The Wizard and Dave, pretends to host the show. Chris reminds everyone about how he always asks to present TOTP but has never hosted it, unless you count the one he did with Theakston last year at the live event one. Chris and Dave are going out tonight so will miss their beloved Footballers Wives so asks if anyone who makes the show could give them a copy so they can watch it tomorrow lunchtime so they can talk about it on tomorrows show.
Two people associated with football celebrate their birthdays today. They are current England manager Sven Goran Erikkson who celebrates his 54th birthday and former Man Utd player Jesper Blomqvist.
Will Young, pop idol finalist, joins the show. At first he is quite dull and doesn't say much because there's a photographer everywhere he goes and he had just been surprised by seeing his family. Chris shouts at the photographer to push off and give Will some peace. Chris mentions about the day that they were trying to ring up their numbers. The company told them they could answer if they wanted to but Will was too nervous. At the time he was using the mobile erasing his messages and thanks Lizzie for her message, which Chris didn't know about. Lizzie says that her mother fancies Will which in all truthfulness means she does too.
Will hasn't got security but he does have Clare, assistant producer of Pop Idol, who is tough as nails when it comes to crowds. Chris wants Will to sing but he doesn't know whether he is allowed. Chris has a Stars in their Eyes cd with the winners on cd 1 and karaoke on cd 2. Will is allowed. Dave decides to draw from the karaoke cup. Dave has to sing Man I Feel like a woman by Shania Twain. Chris has to sing A Kind Of Magic by Queen. Greyhead has to sing Lady In Red by Chris De Burgh and Will has to sing Back For Good by Take That. Finally Lizzie has to sing Baby One More Time by Britney Spears. Will and Gareth has to find the best free blag. Will wants the Lara Croft life-size model as the freebie.

LIzzie = good high note for a flat chested girl
Chris wants to see the bus and asks whether it's like the playdays bus. Dave says that the second line of wills was all over the place. Chris and Dave are going out tonight and have been told that footballers wives company is sending over a copy. Chris is going training tomorrow even though he has a man coming round to do some work. Chris has enlisted a repairman sitter, which is Chris mum. Lizzie offers to sit and is feeling rampant. Will describes the scene outside as proper paparazzi style. Dave has done a jingle for Will and Gareth and because he did them 2 weeks ago, he also made a Darius jingle. Chris says that he found out with Smoke 2 Seven and tells Will that's he wrong when he called them babes last week.
Chris thought that to get his brother better by sending him away on a trip to Ireland. The problem is that he needs id because he has no passport or driving licence. Greyhead says that he should just do the usual and pretends hes Chris. Dave says his should get another person with the same name and then say that when he gets there that there was a mistake. Chris says that would be highly dubious as airports are very strict. Dave says that he looks like Carlos the Jackal and Chris says he looks like Jim Royle. Chris says he would quite gladly ring up Ryan Air and confirm that's hes his brother. Will received a crap joke on the phone that he tries to say is his own. Do you know that Peter Ryan owns Ryan Air? They have a sister company called Donna Air. Cue the long punch line music.
SportTalk ends the show as Chris and Greyhead talk about the two FA Cup ties tonight between Gillingham vs Bristol Rovers and Tottenham vs Bolton.
