Chris watched Godzilla last night and thought it was terrible. He caught the end of the Ulrika documentary and Will watched all of it and said it was just one big advert for her book. Aled decided not to watch Red Dragon in the cinema with Dorothy and instead watched a show about violence in Nottingham, which MC Theako narrated. Aled revealed that Dorothy, his flatmate, is a copper. Dave also watched it and the talk came round to football. Woking have got rid of BFG Geoff Chapple and replaced him with Glenn Cotterill on a 4 month trial basis. Everton have an uphill struggle as they face Arsenal and Leeds face Liverpool in a noon kick off.
Chris received a reply from Cherokee, the Ex Lap Dancer who wants tickets to his TV Show and who wants Aleds job. Chris is querying why his show is being used as a tasting session in whether a crap song goes on the playlist or not. The other week was Shania Twain and this week is Santana. To further add to his ire, the song finished and the timer still had 2 minutes left on the cd so there was 15 seconds of dead air before they realised that it had finished because they were busy doing other things. Chris ordered Will to go and throw the cd at the music department upstairs.
Emma B (The B stands for Battersby, no joke) joined the team to talk about the Warchild Charity. Aled got some info of Warchild from someone (?) and Chris read it out. Chris kept talking about the stupidity of the callers because everyone was ringing up before he said it was time. They decided to cut all the lines off and then open them again so those people couldnt get through.
Aled is moving house at the weekend, well into a room. With the pittance that the BBC pay him, he cant afford a mortgage on a house so has to rent a room and share with other peasents. He has hired a big van for the weekend. Dave, Will and Chris all made up excuses of why they couldnt help him. Chris brings in Pete Tong to show that he is ahead of the times by playing last weeks Rainbow Mix.
