Chris is going up to Nottingham, where the only Hooters restaurant is still going. Chris hoped to see Craig David tomorrow but he hasnt any tickets as yet. He asked people to phone in to tell him where to go in Nottingham because he isnt familiar with the place.
Line 8 was Claire from Nottingham who is celebrating her 22nd birthday tomorrow night. Claire told him to stay away from Parliament Street. She recommended the Hard Rock Cafe and the area of Hockley. News Georgina is going shopping tomorrow but her fella wont go with her. Dave said that he was a normal male then. He said that he hates the way the changing cubicles are right beside the lingerie so while hes waiting for his girlfriend outside, hes aware that people might think hes a pervert. Chris ribbed Georgina again at 5pm saying that he had information about her like her first car was a Red Metro. Chris claimed that she flashed a bra at someone whilst celebrating a friends birthday and said they had a photo as proof.
Pat Sharp is 41 today. Pats favourite part of the show is the John Cougar Melon Camp advert. Chris played it at the end of the link. Nick Hancock is 40 today. Dave hates panel shows except Have I Got News For You. Chris talked about his great panel show Casting Couch. that dire show fronted by Mel and Sue where he was one of the team captains. It ran for 6 episodes and he couldnt remember the 2 comedians names on the show. For the benefit of Chris, it was Kevin Day and Marcus Brigstocke.
Dave had a general knowledge quiz about gloves called One Glove, with the winner getting Mr T signed Glove. Line 1 was Caroline who was in the bath, 20 and from Trowbridge. Line 2 was Adam, a student, 18, in Manchester. Caroline won the Quiz but she decided to give the glove to Adam because she wasnt ringing up for the Quiz. Pete Tong joined the team after the Tedious Link to say that he signed the D Mob record. Chris tried to convince Pete again that the Rainbow mix will be a hit. George and Zippy left a phone message to Chris that they are gigging in Birmingham tonight.
I was heavily disappointed with the show because of one reason. Chris trailed that he was going to talk about the Daily Star piece about Jono Coleman who has slagged off his TV Show and he either forgot about it or decided not to talk about it. Well at least he can keep his dignity and appear on his own show, unlike Jono, who has to appear along with 7 other no-marks, where I must say he fits in very well. Chris spent an entire link hyping up Die Hard 2. Would it be that in most ITV regions it is up against Fame Academy.
