Chris was still having his lunch when the show began. Chris is really looking forward to the weekend. Saturday night he's going to see a TV show being filmed, and on Sunday he will be hosting the Top 40. Last night Chris and Dave went out with their girlfriends to see Jools Holland at the Royal Albert Hall and Dave was drunk, so Chris was on his high-horse because he hasn't had a drink since Sunday. Apparently Dave always goes into a bad mood when he's drunk and was being mardy and slamming the car doors. Dave denied being drunk, he claimed he only had a couple but this 'couple' became six by the end of the link. He couldnt remember the conversation between Emma and Chris in the car on the way back when Chris asked Emma to make up nicknames for Dave because they are short of material and need something to laugh at today.
The team was obviously really struggling for material because the big announcement that was supposed to be on the 9th December they made today instead. You can win a prize for your office of no more than 30 people to come down to London and party on air with the team. They have really good guests but the winner has to play a game to meet them. Will took his girlfriend to see Moby last night as a surprise. He had a guess who which was Baddiel and Skinner.
David Dickinson is presenting an award at the Top of the Pops awards tonight. They had him on a live link from Manchester.
- His video is going really well, number six in the charts
- Not feeling nervous about presenting the award
- Doesn't know what he's going to say, is going to busk it as usual.
- Presenting the award with the model Sophie Everton
- David and Chris think David's missus should present the award with him as she's apparently looking foxy today

- Will be wearing a grey silk suit with a tie he brought in Paris in the sixties which has buttons on it. This tie has seen some sights. Chris says thats between David and Mrs Dickinson, he doesn't want to know.
Will Young was the next guest to adorn Mark & Lards studio in Manchester. Will was like a kiddie in a sweetshop as he played with all the instruments laid out for him. Ill leave you to think of your own punchline there. Chris played the nigh on perfect rendition of Aled & Lizzie performing The Long and Winding Road. Will seemed impressed with Aled up until the really bad bum note which got him laughing uncontrollably. Will tried to play along with the Blue and Elton John song but thankfully he mucked it up and somehow made the song better, basically because his piano droned out Blues singing. That can only be a good thing.
Chris went on his horse again about Duncan from Blue. Could it be jealousy. Most likely. Will said that he was on This Morning when they trying to make a boyband a couple of years ago. Will is performing tonight at the TOTP Awards and he is going on before Kylie which he thought was a daunting prospect. You can catch this tomorrow evening on BBC1 after 5pm.
Will Young has been watching Treasure Hunt on Challenge TV at 1:30am just to see Anneka Rice. Has Lizzie turned him, hmmm I wonder. He said she should come back and she looked brilliant. Chris asked Will to come to the party on December 20th. He agreed. Will put on disco on the cheap keyboard and he had trouble working it. Chris asked Will to wink with his left eye to the camera and do fake gun piows. Will said he could point the piows at Gareth and he could drop dead. Chris said that was a bit harsh. Kinder suggested he puts the words donkey magic in the song but Chris said that he will probably be miming the song. Chris wanted Les Dennis to win tonights Big Brother. Chris will go early Saturday Christmas Shopping.
FA ALED UPDATE
Aled was on the bus with the 3 students yesterday. Sinead was still a bit down. Malachi said vote for him because he is crap at everything else. Ainslie couldnt stop talking but Aled failed to get him to give a personal message to Chris. Aled played a track sang by David, Lemar and Malachi which will be released next year as they dont want to saturate the ever growing Xmas hits. Aled said that Ainslie smelt of Alcohol. He said he was given a Gareth Gates suit to wear and he completely wrote all over it. Sinead asked Chris not to be too harsh on her.
