<p>The team started the show today not feeling too badly today but sounded a little down unfortunately but seemed to liven up after the news. We discovered that Chris went out to have an Indian last night and the team discussed about when you have a starter you are to full to eat you're curry this eagley led onto discussion about the Kumars and Meera Syal which Chris and Dave really don't find funny to which Rachel finds it hillarious. For quite a long time Chris and Dave had their own on air meeting which caused much on-air confusion.

Buzz Off - With Dave's Talent Emerging Further
Today Chris decided to treat us all to Parklife by Blur which him and Dave were positive that they had played it before.
Dave buzzed on 2:46,
Rachel buzzed on 2:58, 
Dom buzzed on 2:59 and 
listeners were 81% Buzz on. The song came out in '94 which shocked the team. After however the computer decided to break down meaning that Dave got to give us another beautiful rendition of Love Boat which was brilliant of course. While Dave was singing Dom and Chris had a conversation about what they were doing in the weekend. When it was time for the news it still had not been fixed so Chris told us all that it's continuous Love Boat right up to 10 AM. After the News the problem has been fixed hooray! Which was great and Chris informed us that Boyzone had loaded perfectly. </p>

<p>Chris told us this extremely long list who's on it including the likes of Ricky Gervais, French & Saunders and Scott Mills. He then shocked us after a couple of minutesw telling us Colin Murray was not last. After Ice Cube Chris told us about the poll and the current results and Scott had none whatsoever and that was due to the texts not working as they should. He then did another plea for people to start texting in their king of comedy. Colin was 3rd from last so wasn't doing to bad and was beating the krankies and 8000 votes had already been recieved. After this Chris went over Simon Cowell's interview yesterday where You're My Baby from all the way back in 1999 was played which is in the soundvault here.

<p>After the 8:00 News Chris told us the reults of the poll with Scott Mills being last due to a problem with the texts, The Krankies being next with 0.5% of the votes, In 8th place with 1.5% of the votes was Cannon & Ball, In 7th place with 3% is Colin Murray, In 6th place Lenny Henry. French & Saunders at 5, Chuckle Brothers at 4 and Joe Pasquale 3rd. Ricky Gervais at 2 and Peter Kay being first with 65% of the votes. Next up on the show TOTP giveaway and Gwen Steffani however before we have to peel back the door on the oven as Chris put it. Today was Sam Kane behind door number 8.</p>
<p>The caller today Holly decided to choose One Hit Wonders after trying to get some hints from him. She got eight correct answers which is a pretty good score. There was a big mistake however due to her asking for one hit wonders but she was given covers. The problem was though that it may have been unfair to allow her to continue. After some persuation from the team and texts she got let through with Chris saying that she had won the tickets which quickly provoked an excited reaction from her which Chris had to quickly correct with saying that she has been entered.</p>
<p>After One Road Travel Chris had ago at Dom for using the exact same words from 7:30 ORT as 8:30 and not rewriting any of it. </p>

<p>Seamless? - Yes says Dave however a lot of questionable ones on the texts about where Sheryl Tweedy is from and if Rolf Harris is born in Australia or not. </p>

And Hayseed Dixie means of course that it's time for the time that is 0.5; Half Time. At the start of Half Time Chris told us to bare with him as he just had to phone seimeone. After no one picked up we discovered that it was Scott Mills that Chris was trying to phone.Chris had been given a card that Wes had found from someone saying Call Me with a kiss on it and a phone number. This was believed to come from Scott as he was in Studio 1 last night however after more failed attempts to get in touch with Scott Chris thought it might be best to phone his BA but on second thought and after acting out a potential situation he thought that it was not much of a good idea.
<p>A quick recap went on after Damien rice and during Damien Rice Aled phoned the person on the business card and after a trail and clearance from Rachel Chris was allowed to. The caller slowly whittled down which DJ was at the student awards untill Aled mentioned Scott Mills he then instantly hung up. After Natasha Beddingfield they went over the call again and once again tried to get in touch with Scott however he still wouldn't pick up. After the news they tried again and Dave rang Neil and someone did answer however in Dave's words there was a lot fumbling around and then someone hung up Dave tried again and simply got the answer phone.
