Show starts with a cd glitch as Sum 41 stops and starts. Chris talks about Fridays office party where Chris didnt drink much and so freaked out Dave. Dave thinks its not normal for him to drink cokes on a Friday night bearing in mind the extortionate prices you have to pay for them. Chris has never seen so many drunk happy people in his life and feels strange especially as at the bar someone hugs him and says happy Christmas and he turns around and its his boss, Andy Parfitt. Some girl comes up and starts slagging him off for saying that the room was tiny, which in fact it was.
The PA system blows up at 7pm so there?s no music. Some fella comes up and apologizes to Moyles for five minutes possibly thinking Moyles was a boss. At 11pm everyone was trolleyed but Chris was still soberish. Moyles left at 1am with Jo Graham from Mark and Lard show although film critic James King claims he left with her. There are stories he can tell but he wont because they are too scandalous. Andy Hosey, usually the resident alcoholic, left early to get the tube and was sober. This year?s rumour is a cracker and it seems as though it might be about someone?s meat and two veg. Chris plays Will & Myleene Something Stupid.
Hes got so much gossip he knows and hes willing not to tell if they send him an email to tell him not to say anything and say his show is great. They did 2 guess who?s. Lizzie saw Michael Starke who played Sinbad in Brookside. Chris saw ex radio 1 disc jockey Gary Davies who came into his pub while he was watching the Leeds match with Jon Culshaw in the pub. He came in for ten seconds then walked straight back out again. Daves says that he probably thought they looked like scum. Emma B comes in and plugs her Sunday surgery show where they want people to email her with a condom slogan. Chris talks about sleeping with Dave, Jude and Emma B though not in a sexual capacity. Chris does his radio tart thing by doing one live between Dandy Warhols and Craig David and later revealed that Warhols won the vote. Chris leaves the studio for a minute and whilst he away Dave puts on another Dido record haven already played a song by her twenty minutes.
Chris takes the piss out of wills haircut. It cost him £9.50 whilst Chris costs a monumental £60. Daves is the cheapest but then again he does wear a baseball cap because his helmet ruins it.
Lizzie wants some nail varnish remover and Dave recalls that Chris used to paint both small fingers varnish. They do Sport talk with Mr Kinder. They hook up with Joe from New York. He got chucked by the girl who probably had a sudden urge of sense so
he brags about his prowess and bemoans the girl bedroom action. You might think I have a bias opinion towards him but im basing it on his words and actions. He sent over a picture of himself and will join Chris in London on January 2nd 2002 on his return show back. Chris says that he will take him to stringfellows. Joe is unaware of stringfellows.
Geordie Scottie vents his newfound anger against the nerd chatters on the radio 1 website for swearing, moaning and being antisocial and slagging him off (Jo, Stamper, hurricane2, Louise Scott, ray, jono Wayne, Louise fox are some of the names mentioned).
They talk about 2 girls called Peaches and Charlie who are in a Portsmouth shopping centre grotto letting people sit on their lap and have their photo taken with them for £2. Chris prefers Peaches although he has a strange smile.
