After yesterdays debacle of a show, today was... more of the same. The holidays cant come quick enough for Chris and the team. They were in Studio 2 again and Chris was still complaining about sound levels and other stuff that the listeners dont care about. There was no Lizzie today as she has flu. A poor first half hour and he plays more Eminem bootlegs straight after the news with Georgina. These were
1. Eminem VS Genesis Land Of Confusion
2. Eminem VS Ground Force
3. Eminem VS Michael Jackson
After this Chris did the mock press conference questions to Terry Venables which was in a similar vein to the one he did about Sven Goran Erikkson. Dave has a bit of indigestion so fired off an email to old Producer Rhys asking for some Rennies and he came to give him some. Chris constantly plays a clip of Terry Venables saying No.
time for BIG BLUBBER
Will - Hindered by many weeks of continuous injuries, Will is determined to get back to match fitness. Even the heavy downpours of Tuesday couldnt deter him from donning his tracksuit and putting in a great 20 minute run. Dave and Chris are convinced that Will is the mole in the Big Blubber camp directing paparazzi to a secret training ground. This would explain why Will spent most of the session making hooting Owl noises and animal like mimes.
Chris - Chris has been lacking in consistency this week. His sessions have had more ups and downs than a Frenchman on Viagra. He has found the mornings very difficult and leads me to believe he is spending more time doing marathon drinking sessions than any marathon running. Once hes actually dragged himself out, Chris does put in 110%. He did an hour run in hideous conditions on Tuesday and today had good intentions that were hampered by the hot pursuit of paparazzi keen to get Chris in action.
Dave - Dave obviously saw the weather report on Monday night as he cunningly didnt turn up on Tuesday. Today his main purpose was to be Chris henchman and to stand as a look out for the preying paparazzi. As Dave takes 2 weeks off, I am confident his fitness regime will continue with long runs on the beach and plenty of swimming
Lizzie - No surprise that Lizzie didnt come out on Tuesdays rains. The weather has also prevented Lizzie from cycling into work but Im actually wondering know how much truth lies in her claims to exercise. Last week I praised her for her Thursday run to the park only to find out later she strolled there upping her dose of caffeine and nicotine on route. Lizzie now needs to make an effort to prove herself and must realize in the long run, shes only kidding herself.
This week there are only 2 real contenders for the trophy. Chris has been let down by his failure to rise in the mornings so im giving the Judas in the camp the benefit of the doubt and awarding WILL KINDER the LICKY LICKY BROWN NOSE TROPHY.
Chris gets some free gifts from the Molten Brown company after mentioning them yesterday. He still complains that he didnt get any shampoo which is what he was wanting yesterday. Dave has a story about why Unchained Melody was picked by the record company for Gareth Gates first single. You can see where this going when Chris and Will keep interrupting and Dave walks out leaving Will to fill in the line about it being the Number 1 choice on the Jukebox.
Chris plays a One Life Trailer and Will mentions off air that the Asian girl spoke like Chris Eubank. Chris plays it back and then tells Dave to read out the guff about it without laughing. Of course Dave fails.
Chris talks about last nights boxing match between Audrey Next Opponent Mr C from the Shamen Harrison and Dominic Negus. I knew from watching the after match interviews that Chris would play these clips because the Negus fella was absolutely hilarious. After The Streets track is played, Chris plays The Streets Lets Push Things Forward mixed with clips of Rik from the Young Ones.
BB ALED
Aled is back in the studio from yesterdays cold. Kate won the Servant Task and was treated to half an hour in the Diary Room where she could read magazines, drink Moet champagne and listen to music. Tim was on the ropes again about his hair. Jade asked him if he wanted a haircut and he quickly said no. Jade then asked what colour his hair was and he replied Light Brown. PJ asked him if hew dyed his hair and Tim managed to change the subject. Alex and Kate have shared a bath together and Kate gave him a back massage. They have a new game they made up called Follow The Van. It is a luminous toy that they found inside a Cornflakes box. They hide it in the bed and get someone to fumble for it whilst they are in it.
Aled took his Pooth to the Poof Parade AKA Mardi Gras. As you know Graham Norton said no. Last years winner Brian would sit on the pooth if he hadnt have to talk about Big Brother. This from the same fella who acts out a spoof Big Brother this year in SM:TV. The Pooth was very popular as it was photographed many times and even signed an autograph, well a print anyway. All the Ex Big Brother housemates were out in force and Narindar who loves the sound of her own voice recorded her piece wanting Jonny out. Adam from Cleethorpes wants Jade out of the house whilst Andrew wanted Kate to win because shes funny when shes drunk.
