Chris started the show off with a rendition of Baby Its Cold Outside with Aled. They had a Tom Jones Karoake CD that they bought from HMV for £6.99 and Chris let Dave sing Its Not Unusual. For the next 45 minutes we got renditions of Tom Jones songs. Nothing really much to write about but funny to listen to.

ITS TIME FOR BIG BLUBBER
Aled - Was Absent on Wednesday due to work commitments. Needs to stop talking about Liposuction stories. He has to work on his technique.
Will - A Big Thumbs Up (Oh Err Missus) Was an ever present member. Will always fell over the cones but Scott thinks this might have been on purpose so he could get a rest.
Dave - No show on Tuesday after Everton was beaten the night before. He came out on Wednesday and was impressive on the shuttle runs.
Chris - Chris is feeling the effects of his ardous run on Sunday and was limping quite badly. Whether this was put on remains to be seen but his work was limited to upper body work.

Chris - You got a new album and a new single out.
Tom - I wrote a lot of the songs with Wyclef and then we came up with the titles of the songs, so the lady sings Tom Jones International at the end so we just thought we will call the song that.
Chris - Whats it like working with him? Do you get much work done or does it take a long time because you are messing around?
Tom - There is fun and there is messing but its a fast process. Once we start its done pretty quickly.
Chris - Do you enjoy the recording process?
Tom - It all depends who im working with but I really enjoyed this, working with Wyclef because a lot of the stuff started from scratch. It wasnt like someone has already written all the songs the old traditional way and just go in and record them. This was like, walk in the studio and then start to think What are you going to do. So he picks up the guitar and he starts playing.
Chris - Thats got to be more fun though?
Tom - Oh definitely!
Chris - Do you play, like any instruments?
Tom - I play a little bit of guitar but not as well as he does and his cousin Jay Wonder plays the bass so then all of a sudden something starts to happen.
Chris - I imagine you go into the studio and you're a one take man.
Tom - If its a set song and you just learn it, I go in and do it but with Wyclef, it was trial and error. You know we were trying stuff and if it didnt work we would try it again. We would do it this way and that way. It was different because it was almost like back to front because first of all he said that we got to drop the beats, get the grooves first and then write the song on top of it, like in the old days you got the song first and then you think about the music.
Chris - When you perform live do you still do the classics?
Tom - Well the big ones like Delilah, Its Not Unusual and Green Green Grass of Home and so on. Its funny because they still work cos theyre powerful. They dont stick out from the newer stuff that I do. I dont do sort of This is the new and This is the old, I mix them in with the other stuff.
Chris - Are you sick of singing any of your songs?
Tom - No, not the ones I do on stage, thats why I do them and the audience keeps them alive because they are very recognisible. You know when Delilah starts off, even before you start to sing it, the crowd know its Delilah so they keep it alive.
Chris - See I do a great version of Delilah, Maybe later on you can listen to me sing and rate you?
Tom - What, Rape you?
Dave pisses himself laughing
Chris - No, no rate me out of ten. Dave shut up. Youre just jealous me and Tom are good singers and great lookers whereas your an ugly fella. See Dave you know nothing.
Dave - And someone once in Great Yarmouth threw a set of underpants at you so there again another comparison.
Tom - It was a fella, wasnt it?
Dave - Yeah fella.
Chris - A truck driver from Warrington but still they were nice pants. I kept them, they fitted quite well.
----------part two-----------------------------
Chris - What music do you listen to on the road?
Tom - I listen to Top 40 radio to see whats happening but I like a lot of things. I like 50's Rock N Roll, I like Nelly, Usher and people like that.
Chris - Is there anyone you want to still collaborate with?
Tom - Yeah, theres a lot of them. I think there are more better singers now than there was 30 years ago. Kids have so much more music to listen to now than people did 30 years ago so there are more influences.
Chris - I do hope though that there is music that you think is absolute rubbish.
Tom - Well thats always been the case. There is always good and bad, always have been.
Chris - Has anybody turned you down?
Tom - Not that I know of, I dont get told of that feedback. I was told that Norman Cook was scared to work with me but he would have liked to, Zoe told me that.
Chris - Hes a bit of a chicken. I can understand his point though.
Tom - I wouldnt hurt him though.
Chris - Id love to see you lose your rag in the studio, I bet it would be like poetry in motion.
Tom - Well it wouldnt be in the recording studio, I have to keep my cool there.
Dave - Throwing Cups of Tea at the glass window, that sort of thing.

FA ALED
Chris and Dave played up and kept interrupting Aled as he tried to speak

Marli revealed to the rest that she had a 500,000 deal with Island Records and with the money she bought her own recording studio. She was dropped and thats why she is here.
Marli's prize for being A Grader was a special hat designed by Philip Tracy? WHO!
Aled has been inundated by emails and phone calls from Scunthorpe Nigels family after Aled said yesterday not to vote for him. Aleds opinion is not swayed by all this attention.
